    One of the main work requirements in future will be the skill to solve problems, as well as the skill to cope with the questions of social character, acquire skills in intercultural communication, accept diversity and respect people of different identity. Policeman in acquiring the necessary psychological knowledge and methods must be both pedagogue and psychologist. More topical is becoming tolerant attitude to changes, complying with ethical norms and quality requirements. Entering new, complicated, different problems charged situations; the pressing of social problems in the society requires policemen to be knowledgeable, skilled and with good thinking abilities, as well as be able to use not only different methods of psychological defense, but also definite methods of defense, attack, etc., while working with people, who have different social values and behavior. There is lack of investigations, scientific literature, where from the wholesome point of view are analyzed aspects of policeman's professional physical preparedness, the methodology of its formation and didactic approaches used in its development, therefore the formation of policeman's wholesome professional physical preparedness is hindered. The fact that Latvia has entered the European Union gives our state, its system of education and Police Academy of Latvia great possibilities in all spheres of life, at but at the same time sets certain requirements for the provision of education in future and entrusts higher responsibility for the accomplished in educating new policemen. People studying now at Police Academy of Latvia are future employees of Latvian and European police and law establishments.
