Abstract

Fiksētu jeb neizņemamu zobu protēžu ievietošana trūkstošo zobu aizvietošanai vai zobu mūža ilguma pagarināšanai ir ierasta prakse mūsdienu zobārstniecībā. Ārsti pacientiem piedāvā iespējas pie konkrētām indikācijām aizvietot zaudētos zoba audus ar kroni vai zaudētu zobu gadījumā tos aizvietot ar zobu balstītām tiltveida protēzēm vai implantātiem. Pacienti izvēlas dažādas neizņemamas zobu protēzes: uz zobiem balstītas (zobu kroņi un tilti) vai uz zobu implantātiem balstītas neizņemamas konstrukcijas. Taču jebkuram no šiem protēžu veidiem ir nepieciešama tāda pati un pat vēl rūpīgāka kopšana, kā pacienta paša zobiem.
