dc.description.abstractFiksētu jeb neizņemamu zobu protēžu ievietošana trūkstošo zobu aizvietošanai vai zobu mūža ilguma pagarināšanai ir ierasta prakse mūsdienu zobārstniecībā. Ārsti pacientiem piedāvā iespējas pie konkrētām indikācijām aizvietot zaudētos zoba audus ar kroni vai zaudētu zobu gadījumā tos aizvietot ar zobu balstītām tiltveida protēzēm vai implantātiem. Pacienti izvēlas dažādas neizņemamas zobu protēzes: uz zobiem balstītas (zobu kroņi un tilti) vai uz zobu implantātiem balstītas neizņemamas konstrukcijas. Taču jebkuram no šiem protēžu veidiem ir nepieciešama tāda pati un pat vēl rūpīgāka kopšana, kā pacienta paša zobiem. Zobu un zobu protēžu kopšana ietekmē pacienta mutes un vispārējo veselību .Pacientiem ar fiksētām zobu protēzēm ir jāpievērš lielāka vērība to kopšanai, lai nodrošinātu to ilgmūžību, kā arī labu mutes veselību. Pacienti pēc zobārsta apmeklējuma ne vienmēr ir pietiekami informēti par ievietoto fiksēto zobu protēžu pareizu kopšanu, kā arī mēdz aizmirst ārsta sniegtos norādījumus pēc iziešanas no kabineta.lv-LV
dc.description.abstractThe placement of fixed or non-removable dentures to replace missing teeth or prolong the life of teeth is a common practice in modern dentistry. Physicians offer patients the option of replacing lost tooth tissue with a crown for specific indications or, in the case of lost teeth, with dental-based bridges or implants. Patients choose from a variety of non-removable dentures: dental-based (dental crowns and bridges) or dental implant-based non-removable designs. However, any of these types of dentures require the same and even more careful care as the patient's own teeth. Dental and denture care affects a patient’s oral and overall health. Patients with fixed dentures need to pay more attention to their care to ensure their longevity as well as good oral health. Patients after a visit to the dentist are not always sufficiently informed about the proper care of the inserted fixed dentures, as well as tend to forget the instructions given by the doctor after leaving the officeen-UK
