Sociālo darbinieku izpratne par ekosociālā darba perspektīvu.

Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir “Sociālo darbinieku izpratne par ekosociālā darba perspektīvu”. Darbu veic Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes “Sabiedrības veselības un sociālās labklājības fakultātes” studiju programmas “Sociālais darbs” 4.kursa studente Laura Adelīna Libreiha. Darba vadītāja – Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes Mg SD lektore Marika Lotko. Pētījuma mērķis: Izpētīt sociālo darbinieku izpratni par vides pārmaiņu ietekmi uz iedzīvotājiem un sociālo problēmu attīstību. Pētījuma uzdevumi: 1. aprakstīt ekosociālā darba perspektīvu; 2. aprakstīt vides ietekmi uz sociālo problēmu attīstību; 3. aprakstīt sociālā darba nozīmi vides pārmaiņu radīto sociālo problēmu mazināšanā; 4. aprakstīt vides pārmaiņas Latvijā un ārzemēs; 5. izpētīt sociālo darbinieku izpratni par ekosociālā darba perspektīvu un vides pārmaiņu ietekmi uz iedzīvotājiem un sociālo problēmu attīstību. Teorētiskās daļas ietvaros ir aprakstītas aktuālākās vides un klimata pārmaiņas, to ietekme uz iedzīvotāju veselību un funkcionēšanu, uzskaitītas dažas no piesārņotākajām teritorijām Latvijā, kā arī šo teritoriju veselības rādītāji un pašvaldības atbalsts attiecībā pret to. Tāpat darba ietvaros ir aprakstīta ekosociālā darba perspektīvas attīstība un sociālo darbinieku loma vides pārmaiņu kontekstā, praktizējot ekosociālā darba perspektīvu. Pētnieciskās daļas ietvaros tika veikta aptauja, lai noskaidrotu sociālo darbinieku, kas strādā piesārņoto teritoriju pašvaldībās, izpratni par vides un klimata pārmaiņu ietekmi uz indivīdu un sabiedrību, kā arī ekosociālā darba perspektīvu. Aptaujā iegūtie dati parādīja to, ka sociālajiem darbiniekiem trūkst izpratne par ekosociālā darba perspektīvu un gatavība to praktizēt ikdienas darbā, balstoties uz esošajām zināšanām par šo perspektīvu. Tāpat tika veiktas intervijas ar vides speciālistiem, lai noskaidrotu aktuālākās vides un klimata pārmaiņas Latvijā, kā arī ar tām saistītos potenciālos riskus nākotnē. Vides speciālisti ir snieguši savus skatījumus par aktuālajām vides pārmaiņām Latvijā un kā tās var ietekmēt iedzīvotājus. Aktuālākās vides un klimata pārmaiņas Latvijā, pēc speciālistu domām, ir bargi laikapstākļi (karstuma viļņi, plūdi), daudzveidības samazināšanās, kas tiek ietekmēta arī no lauksaimniecības un meža izciršanas.

The title of the bachelor's thesis is "Social workers' understanding of ecosocial work perspective". The work is performed by Laura Adelīna Libreiha, a 4th year student of the study program “Social Work” at the Faculty of Public Health and Social Welfare of Riga Stradiņš University. Supervisor - Riga Stradiņš University Mg. Lecturer Marika Lotko. The theoretical part describes the current environmental and climate changes, their impact on the health and functioning of the society, lists some of the most polluted areas in Latvia, as well as the health indicators of these areas and the support of the municipality in relation to it. The work also describes the development of the ecosocial work perspective and the role of social workers in the context of environmental change, practicing the ecosocial work perspective. Aim of the research: To study the understanding of social workers about the impact of environmental change on the population and the development of social problems. Research tasks: 1. describe the perspective of ecosocial work; 2. describe the impact of the environment on the development of social problems; 3. describe the role of social work in reducing the social problems caused by environmental change; 4. describe environmental changes in Latvia and abroad; 5. to study the understanding of social workers about the perspective of ecosocial work and the impact of environmental changes on the population and the development of social problems. As part of the research part, a survey was conducted to find out the understanding of social workers working in the municipalities of polluted areas about the impact of environmental and climate change on the individual and society, as well as the perspective of ecosocial work. The data obtained from the survey showed that social workers lack an understanding of the perspective of ecosocial work and a willingness to practice it in their daily work, based on the existing knowledge about this perspective. Interviews were also conducted with environmental specialists to find out the current environmental and climate changes in Latvia, as well as the potential risks related to them in the future. Environmental specialists have provided their views on current environmental changes in Latvia and how they may affect the population. According to experts, the most pressing environmental and climate changes in Latvia are severe weather conditions (heat waves, floods), a decrease in diversity, which is also affected by agriculture and deforestation.
