Operāciju māsu rīcības infekciju kontroles nodrošināšanā operāciju zālē

Abstract

Ar veselības aprūpi saistīto infekciju daudzums joprojām pieaug un kļūst par lielu veselības aprūpes sistēmas izaicinājumu. Operāciju zāles darbinieku, tai skaitā operāciju māsu rīcības infekciju kontrolē ir viens no nozīmīgākiem aspektiem postoperatīvo negatīvo seku mazināšanā, toties pētījumi atklāj, ka ar laiku veselības aprūpes sniedzēji demonstrē zemāku iesaistīšanās līmeni vadlīniju ievērošanā. Nekvalitatīvi nodrošinātie infekciju kontroles pasākumi var kļūt par iemeslu patogēno mikroorganismu nonākšanai pacienta brūcē operāciju laikā, kas būtiski palielina risku postoperatīvās infekcijas attīstībai. Pētījuma mērķis: Noskaidrot operāciju māsu rīcību infekciju kontroles nodrošināšanā operāciju zālē. Pētījuma hipotēze: Operāciju māsas, kuru darba stāžs ir līdz pieciem gadiem labāk ievēro higiēniskā un pretepidēmiskā režīma plānus, nekā operāciju māsas, kuru darba stāžs ir lielāks par pieciem gadiem. Pētījuma datu iegūšanas instruments: Darba autores izveidotais novērošana protokols, ar kura palīdzību tiks noskaidrotas operāciju māsu rīcības infekciju kontroles nodrošināšanai operāciju zālē. Pētījumā piedalījās 14 X stacionāra operāciju māsas, ar dažādu darba stāžu. Pētījums liecina, ka māsām, kuru darba stāžs ir līdz pieciem gadiem ir atbilstoša infekciju kontroles kompetence, kas atbilst 3. līmenim („labi”) pēc vērtēšanas skalas, kas raksturo rīcību, kura atbilst prasībām novērtēšanas perioda laikā, bet operāciju māsām, kuru darba stāžs ir vairāk par pieciem gadiem infekciju kontroles kompetence atbilst 2.līmenim („jāpilnveido”), kas raksturo rīcību, kura atsevišķos gadījumos atbilst prasībām, bet kopumā to nepieciešams pilnveidot.

The number of healthcare-associated infections continues to rise and is becoming a major challenge for the healthcare system. The control of infections among operating room staff, including operating room nurses, is one of the most important aspects of reducing post-operative complications, but research shows that over time, healthcare providers show a lower level of involvement in following the hygiene protocols and infection control guidelines. Poor hygiene and infection control measures can cause pathogenic microorganisms to enter the patient's wound during surgery, which significantly increases the risk of developing postoperative infection. Aim of the research: To find out the actions of the operation nurses in ensuring the control of infections in the operating room. Research Hypothesis: Nurses with up to five years 'experience are more adherent to hygiene protocols and infection control guidelines than nurses with more than five years' experience. Research method: an observation protocol created by the author of the work, with the help of which the actions of the operation nurses in ensuring the control of infections in the operating room will be clarified The study included 14 X hospital operating nurses with different years of experience. Studies show that nurses with less than five years of experience have adequate infection control competence which is at level 3 ('good'), which according to the rating scale means, that actions meets the requirements during the assessment period, while nurses with more than five years of experience corresponds to level 2 ('should be improved'), which means, that behaviour in some cases meets the requirements but generally needs to be improved.
