Māsu viedoklis un pieredze par vecāku iesaistīšanos bērna aprūpē infekciju nodaļā

Abstract

Vecāki aprūpējot bērnu sniedz emocionālo atbalstu, citiem vārdiem ir kā tilts starp bērnu un slimnīcas personālu. Jau vairāk kā 20 gadus šo iemeslu dēļ vecāku iesaiste bērna hospitalizācijas procesos tiek rekomendēta (Ygge BM. and Arnetz JE., 2004). Vecāki, atrodoties nodaļā kopā ar bērnu un aprūpējot savu bērnu, arī ir būtisks atbalsts un palīgs māsām, gan jaunām māsām, gan māsām ar lielu darba pieredzi. Vislielākā loma māsām var būt tieši tajā brīdī, kad pacienta vecāki sastopas ar problēmām un grūtībām; atbalstoša vide un iedrošināšana var būt svarīgs solis pacienta veiksmīgas aprūpes nodrošināšanai (Vasli P and Salsali M. 2014; Williams L. et al., 2016). Tāpēc ļoti svarīga māsas sadarbība un komunikācija ar pacienta vecākiem, tos iedrošinot un atbalstot. Kā arī ļoti svarīga ir māsas loma vecākus izglītojot. Svarīgi ir arī tas, kur māsa iegūst informāciju, lai varētu izglītot bērnu vacākus, vai māsa balstās tikai uz savu pieredzi. Teorētiskajā daļā tika aplūkoti pētījumi par māsas un vecāku lomu pacientu aprūpe stacionārā, kā arī infekcijas slimību risks bērniem, to profilakse. Pētījuma mērķis- noskaidrot kāds ir māsu viedoklis un pieredze par vecāku iesaistīšanos bērna aprūpē infekciju nodaļā. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika izskatīta zinātniskā literatūra par māsu aprūpi, vecāku līdzdalību bērna aprūpē un infekcijas risku, izplatību Darbā tika izmantota kvalitatīva pētījuma metode, pētniecības instruments – anketa, ko izveidoja darba autore, balstoties uz pētījumiem par māsu viedokli. Šī anketa palīdzēja noskaidrojot māsu viedokli un pieredzi. Māsu viedoklis un pieredze par vecāku iesaistīšanos bērnu aprūpē infekciju nodaļā tika pētīta vienā no lielākajām slimnīcām Latvijā. Pētījumā piedalījās 55 respondenti- māsas, kuras tika izvēlētas pēc gadījuma metodes. Mērķauditorija: bērnu aprūpes māsas. Šajā pētījuma ietvaros,pētījuma hipotēze, māsas viedoklis par vecāku iesaistīšanos bērna aprūpē, atkarībā no māsu pieredzes , būtiski neatsķirās. Bakalaura darba nobeigumā tika aprakstīti secinājumi. Darbs sastāv no 47 lpp , divām nodaļām, četrām apakšnodaļām, sešiem attēliem un četriem pielikumiem.

Parents provide emotional support when caring for a child, in other words, they act as a bridge between the child and the hospital staff. For more than 20 years, the involvement of parents in child hospitalization processes has been recommended for these reasons (Ygge BM. And Arnetz JE., 2004). Parents, while in the ward with their child and caring for their child, are also important support and assistants for nurses, regardless whether these are unexperienced nurses or nurses with extensive work experience. Nurses can play the great role at the moment when a patient's parents face problems and difficulties; a supportive environment and encouragement can be an important step in ensuring successful patient care (Vasli P and Salsali M. 2014; Williams L. et al., 2016). Therefore, the nurse's cooperation and communication with the patient's parents is very important by encouraging and supporting them. The role of the nurse in educating parents is also very important. It is also important where the nurse obtains information in order to educate the parents, whether the nurse relies solely on her own experience. The theoretical part considered research on the role of nurses and parents in hospital, as well as the risk of infectious diseases and prevention for children. The aim of the research is to find out what is the opinion and experience of nurses about the involvement of parents in child care in the infection department. In order to achieve the goal, the scientific literature on nursing care, parental participation in childcare and the risk of infection, prevalence was reviewed. During this research, author of this work made questionnaire as a tool of quality research based on opinion of participated nurses. This questionnaire helped to find out the opinions and experiences of the nurses. The opinion and experience of nurses regarding the involvement of parents in childcare in the Department of Infections was studied in one of the largest hospitals in Latvia. The study involved 55 nurses who were selected on a case-by-case basis. Target audience: childcare nurses. Study revealed the research hypothesis, the nurse's opinion on parental involvement in childcare, did not differ significantly, depending on the nurses experience.
