Visbiežāk no uzskaitītajiem traucējumiem novēro trauksmes pazīmes.
Title: Pshychoemotional state and limited functional independence for people 3-6 months after stroke Background: Between 2015 and 2035, the total number of stroke survivors in Europe is estimated to increase by 34%. On average, 90% of people have a change in their ability to function after a stroke, of which 40-65% are able to regain a sufficient level of independence within the first six months. Approximately 20-65% of stroke patients experience both emotional and non-stroke-related emotional disorders. Depression, anxiety, or stress are most commonly seen, further affecting a patient's life and participation in rehabilitation. Aim: Assess and analyze levels of depression, anxiety, and stress in individuals with dysfunction 3-6 months after stroke. Methods: The study included 20 participants (11 women and 9 men) three to six months after the stroke who met the inclusion criteria. In a specialized inpatient rehabilitation institution, a one-time evaluation of selected participants was performed with research tools - Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-42) and Functional Independence Measure (FIM). The obtained data were analyzed using computer programs Microsoft Excel 2016 and IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0. Results: The average level of functional independence of the study participants in all activities was partially dependent, with an assistant. 5% of study participants showed signs of “mild”, 10% moderate depression. 30% of stroke patients show signs of moderate anxiety, 5% - signs of severe stress. No statistically significant association was observed between levels of functional independence and levels of depression, anxiety, and stress. Conclusions: People experience psycho-emotional disorders - depression, anxiety and stress - three to six months after having a stroke. The most common of these disorders is anxiety. When evaluating a person three to six months after the onset of a stroke, functional independence disorders are observed, the most limited of which are transfer and walking activities. There was no association between the level of functional independence and depression, anxiety, or stress in study participants, suggesting that the level of functional independence does not affect the level of psychoemotional disorders.
