dc.description.abstractBakalaura darba tēma ir “Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūra Latvijas valsts ārējā tēla veidošanas procesā”. Valsts tēls ir priekšstats par valsti starptautiskā līmenī. Tas veidojas no valsts politikas, ekonomikas, kultūras, tās sasniegumiem un virkni citu lielumu, kas valsti raksturo. Valsts ārējā tēla veidošanas loma mūsdienās arvien pieaug, tai pastāvot kā daļai no valsts ārpolitikas. Veiksmīgs valsts ārējais tēls nodrošina labvēlīgu attiecību veidošanu ar citām valstīm, kā arī veicina valsts labklājību. Vienotas valsts tēla stratēģijas izveidē nozīmīga ir institūciju loma, pamatojoties uz tām piemītošo kapacitāti un resursiem. No 2020.gada 29.septembra institucionāli Latvijas valsts ārējā tēla veidošanas koordinācija uzticēta Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūrai (LIAA), kas līdz šim ir darbojusies ekonomikas attīstības jomā. Tā kā līdz šim valsts ārējā tēla veidošana nav bijusi tās tiešā kompetencē, nepieciešams skaidrot, kā LIAA darbojas Latvijas valsts ārējā tēla veidošanas procesā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt LIAA institucionālo nozīmi Latvijas valsts ārējā tēla veidošanas procesā. Darba teorētisko ietvaru veido jaunā institucionālisma starptautisko attiecību teorija.lv-LV
dc.description.abstractThe title of the bachelor’s thesis is “Investment and Development Agency of Latvia in creating the external country image of Latvia”. Country image is a perception of a country internationally. It is created by many factors and characteristics of a country, which are dependent upon its politics, economy, culture, accomplishments and many more. As part of country’s foreign policy, the role of country image nowadays has increasingly grown. Successful country image holds major importance in building strong and beneficial relations with other countries as well as improving country’s wellbeing. In creating a coordinated external image strategy institutions are increasingly important, due to the capacity and resources they hold. Since the 29th of September 2020 this task has been assigned to the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia. Until recently the focus of the institution has been orientated towards improving the economical development of Latvia, so it is important to research, how the institution works in the process of creating Latvia’s external image. The aim of the thesis is to examine the institutional characteristics of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia and their role in the process of creating Latvia’s external image. This will be done using the new institutionalism theory in International Relations field.en-UK
