Abstract
Maģistra darba autore Marta Annija Devīte izstrādāja darbu, kura temats ir “Specializētas IT programmas ieviešanas modelis vidējiem (ne-IT) uzņēmumiem”.
Darba trešās nodaļā darba autore izstrādā ERP sistēmu ieviešanas modeli vidējiem ne-IT uzņēmumiem.
The author of present master’s thesis Marta Annija Devīte has made a research with the title “Specialized IT program implementation model for medium (non-IT) companies”. The aim of the master's thesis is to create an IT project - ERP system - implementation model for medium-sized non-IT companies, based on theoretical findings on resource planning (ERP) system implementation project management. The first chapter is devoted to analyzing the theoretical basis of IT project management, strategic management and decision-making, as well as the available theoretical literature on the implementation of the ERP system. The second chapter focuses on the tendencies of information and communication technology in enterprises in Latvia, on the growth of e-commerce in Latvia, as well as on the usability of the ERP system in Latvia in the period from 2015 to 2019. The second chapter also consists of a case study of the ERP system implementation process in company "X" and an analysis of expert interviews. In the third chapter, the author develops an ERP system implementation model for medium-sized non-IT companies. It is concluded in the thesis that it is possible to create a universal ERP system implementation model for medium-sized non-IT companies, which is developed and demonstrated in the third chapter of the work, however, for the model and ERP system to work successfully and bring the desired improvements, the company's management must perform a full business cycle test and define the shortcomings. The master's thesis consists of 3 chapters, which comply 68 pages. It includes 14 images, 8 tables and 5 appendices on 15 pages. 35 items of bibliographic list are used in the work.
