Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma: motivācija strādāt anestēzijas, intensīvās un neatliekamās aprūpes māsas specialitātē. Pētījuma darba aktualitāti nosaka nepietiekams māsu skaits veselības aprūpē, kas apdraud aprūpes kvalitāti, tāpēc ir svarīgi noskaidrot kāda ir māsu motivācija iesaistīties Latvijas darba tirgū. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot motivāciju strādāt anestēzijas, intensīvās un neatliekamās aprūpes māsas specialitātē. Pētījuma jautājums ir noskaidrot kāda ir motivācija strādāt anestēzijas, intensīvās un neatliekamās aprūpes māsas specialitātē? Vadoties pēc pētījuma mērķa, izvirzītā jautājuma, sekojoši respondentu reprezentatīvās izlases tiek izvēlēta - kvantitatīvā neeksperimentālā pētniecības metode, šķērsgriezuma aprakstošs pētījuma dizains. Pētījuma instruments – autores izstrādāta aptaujas anketa. Pētījuma populācija: Latvijā reģistrētas praktizējošās anestēzijas, intensīvās un neatliekamās aprūpes māsas. Reprezentatīvā nejaušības izlase: Rīgas un Pierīgas strādājošas anestēzijas, intensīvās un neatliekamās aprūpes māsas brīvprātīgi veltījušas laiku aptaujas anketas aizpildīšanā. Darbs sastāv no teorētiskas un pētnieciskās daļas. Teorētiskajā daļā tika sniegta informācija par motivācijas jēdzienu, faktoru kategorijām, kas ietekmē darba motivāciju un ir iekļauts apskats par motivāciju izskaidrojošām teorijām un motivācijas neirobioloģiju. Pētnieciskā daļā ir apkopoti pētnieciskā darba rezultāti par aptaujāto māsu motivāciju strādāt anestēzijas, intensīvās un neatliekamās aprūpes māsas specialitātē. Darbā iegūtie rezultāti atbild uz izvirzīto pētījuma jautājumu, sekojoši māsas ir gan ārēji, gan iekšēji spēcīgi motivētas ar naudas, naturāliem, organizatoriskiem, morāliem un paternālistiskiem motīviem. Pētījuma nozīme māsas profesijā ir globāla, tas var dod virzienu situācijas ar māsu trūkumu veselības aprūpes nozarē uzlabošanai un mērķtiecīgu rīcību izstrādei, lai saglabāt esošas māsas un piesaistīt jaunas.

The topic of the Bachelor’s degree thesis: motivation to work, specializing as anesthetic, intensive and emergency care nurse. Relevance of the thesis is related to inadequate number of nurses in the sphere of healthcare, what could negatively affect the quality of medical care, therefore, it is important to find out motivation of nurses to work in the Latvian labour market. The goal of the research: to identify motivation to work as a professional anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency nurse. The question of the research: what motivates to work as a professional anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency nurse? Following the goal of the research, the question of the research, representative selection of respondents, the author has used a quantitative non-experimental method of research, cross-sectional descriptive study design. The research tool is a questionnaire survey developed by the author. The research population: practicing anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency nurses registered in Latvia. Representative random selection: anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency nurses working in Riga and Riga District, who voluntarily spent time to complete the questionnaire. The thesis consists of the theoretical part and the research part. In the theoretical part, the author has provided information on the notion of motivation, categories of factors, which influence work motivation, and a review of motivation related theories and the neurobiology of motivation. The research part comprises the results of research of how respondent nurses are motivated to work as professional anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency nurses. The results acquired in the course of the development of the thesis give an answer to the question of the research, so nurses are strongly motivated externally and internally by money, natural, organizational, moral and paternalistic factors. The importance of the research for the nursing profession is global, it could further the improvement of the situation of lacking nurses in the sphere of healthcare and development of purposeful measures, aiming to retain working nurses and to attract the new ones.
