Anestēzijas, intensīvās un neatliekamās aprūpes māsu apmierinātība ar darbu operāciju blokā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Anestēzijas, intensīvās un neatliekamās aprūpes māsu apmierinātība ar darbu operāciju blokā”. Bakalaura darba tēmas aktualitāti darba autore pamato ar faktu, ka veselības aprūpes nozarē Latvijā novērots kritisks māsu trūkums, tādejādi strādājošo māsu darbu apgrūtina pārslodze, kas savukārt ietekmē māsu apmierinātību ar darbu (LR Valsts kontrole, 2019). Operāciju blokā ir ļoti intensīvs un saspringts darbs, tāpēc izprast aspektus, kas ietekme uz māsu apmierinātību ar darbu operāciju blokā ir svarīgi, lai izstrādātu stratēģijas un uzlabotu māsu apmierinātību ar darbu, sniegtu pacientiem efektīvāku un kvalitatīvāku aprūpi, jo apmierinātībai ir būtiska loma pacienta iznākumā (Eakin, 2015). Darba pētījuma mērķis bija noteikt anestēzijas, intensīvās un neatliekamās aprūpes māsu apmierinātības aspektus ar darbu operāciju blokā. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no divām daļām. Teorētiskā daļā tiek apskatīta operāciju bloka darba organizēšana, tai skaitā arī anestēzijas, intensīvās un neatliekamās aprūpes māsu darbības organizēšana operāciju blokā. Tāpat darbā aprakstītas operāciju zālē strādājošas anestēzijas māsas amata nepieciešamās prasmes un amata pienākumi. Izskatīts un analizēts darba motivēšanas process, kā arī darbinieku apmierinātība ar darbu un atsevišķi apmierinātības aspekti. Praktiskā daļā sastāv no pētījumā izmantotām metodēm, pētījuma rezultātiem un iegūtām rezultātu interpretācijām. Lai sasniegtu pētījuma mērķus un izpildītu izvirzītos uzdevumus, bija pielietota kvantitatīvā metode ar neeksperimentālo, aprakstošo šķērsgriezuma dizainu. Pētījuma instrumenti- daļēji strukturēta aptaujas anketa par respondenta personiska rakstura informāciju un Paul E. Spector Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS,1994) aptauja. Izlases dalībnieki tika izvēlēti, balstoties uz nevarbūtīgās izlases metodi un izlase tika veidota pēc mērķtiecīga principa. Pētījums bija veikts divās Latvijas veselības aprūpes iestādēs. Pētījumā piedalījās 102 anestēzijas, intensīvās un neatliekamās aprūpes māsas, kas strādā A un B operāciju blokā un veic anestēzijas aprūpi. Pēc pētījuma datiem var secināt, ka anestēzijas, intensīvās un neatliekamās aprūpes māsu apmierinātība ar darbu operāciju blokā ir vidēja, jeb apmierinoša. Apmierinātības līmeni ietekmēja sekojoši aspekti: „darba saturs”, „vadība”, „kolēģi” un „komunikācija”. Savukārt aspekti, kas parāda salīdzinoši zemākus rādītājus māsu apmierinātībā ar darbu bija „atzinība”, „papildatlīdzība”, „darba kārtība”. Neapmierinātību izraisa „samaksas” un „izaugsmes iespējas aspekti”.

The topic of the Bachelor's thesis is "Satisfaction of Anesthetic, Intensive Care and Emergency Nurse with Work in the Operating Theatre". The author bases the topicality of the Bachelor's thesis on the fact that a critical shortage of nurses has been observed in the health care sector in Latvia, thus the work of nurses is hindered by overload, which in turn affects nurses' job satisfaction (LR Valsts kontrole, 2019). Furthermore, the work in the operating theatre is very intensive and requires a lot of energy, so the understanding of the impact of job satisfaction of nursing professionals in the operating room is important. This is needed to develop strategies and improve nursing job satisfaction in order to provide patients with more efficient and qualitative care, as job satisfaction plays a key role in patient care outcome (Eakin, 2015). The aim of this study was to determine the satisfaction aspects of Anesthetic, Intensive Care and Emergency nurses with their work in the operating theatres. The Bachelor's thesis consists of two parts. In the theoretical part, the author considered the organization of the operation unit, including the work organization of Anesthesia, Intensive Care and Emergency Care nurses in the operation unit. The author also noted the required skills, competencies and responsibilities of a Nurse Anesthetist working in the operating room. The motivation process, general employee job satisfaction, and certain aspects of job satisfaction were described in the study as well. The practical part consists of the methods used in the research, the research results and the obtained interpretations of the results. In order to achieve the goal of the study and fulfil the set tasks, a quantitative method of a non-experimental, descriptive cross-sectional design was used. In addition, the research tools, such as a semi-structured questionnaire on the respondent's personal information and Paul E. Spector Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS, 1994) (survey) were used in the research. The participants of the sample were selected based on the improbability sampling method and the sample was formed according to the purposeful principle. The study was conducted in two Latvian health care institutions. The study involved 102 Anesthetic, Intensive Care and Emergency Care nurses working in the A and B operating room and providing anesthesia care. According to the results, it can be concluded that the satisfaction of Anesthesia, Intensive Care and Emergency Care nurses with the work in the operating room is moderate or satisfactory. The level of satisfaction is influenced by the following factors: ”nature of work”, ”supervision”, ”coworkers” and ”communication”. In turn, the factors that show relatively lower indicators of nurses' job satisfaction were “contingent rewards”, “fringe benefits”, “operating procedures”. Dissatisfaction is caused by aspects of ”pay” and ”promotion”.
