Krūts vēža pacientu dzīves kvalitātes izvērtējums ārstēšanas procesā.

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma: Krūts vēža pacientu dzīves kvalitātes izvērtējums ārstēšanas procesā. Latvijā krūts vēzis kļūst par izplatītu saslimšanu, jo ar ļaundabīgiem krūts audzējiem sieviešu skaits Latvijā palielinās. Lai arī Veselības ministrija iesaistās šīs slimības izplatības mazināšanā, piedāvājot valsts apmaksātas ārsta vizītes un testus, tomēr sieviešu skaits, kurām tiek diagnosticēts ļaundabīgs krūts vēzis nesamazinās. Krūts vēzis ietekmē sievietes dzīves kvalitāti, viņas kļūst nogurušākas, viņām biežāk ir bezmiegs, arī finansiālo līdzekļu ziņā viņas kļūst atkarīgākas no sabiedrības un no ģimenes, jo ārstēšana ir ļoti dārgs process. Bakalaura darba ir 3 nodaļas. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek analizēta ārzemju un latviešu literatūras par krūts vēzi, kā arī tiek raksturotas sieviešu dzīves kvalitāte pēc krūts vēža diagnosticēšanas. Otrajā nodaļā tiek raksturotas pētījuma dalībnieces, instrumentārijs un tā procedūra. Trešajā nodaļā tiek veikts pētījums, izmantojot dzīves kvalitātes skala, un aprakstīti pētījuma rezultāti. Bakalaura darbā ir izstrādāti secinājumi un sniegti priekšlikumi. Pēc pētījuma rezultātiem tiek secināts, ka dzīves kvalitāti vēža pacientiem var uzlabot ne tikai viņi paši, bet arī pārējie ģimenes locekļi un draugi, atbalstot krūts vēža pacientus gan garīgi, gan arī finansiāli. Dzīves kvalitāti dalībnieces novērtēja kā vidēju. Dzīves kvalitāte ir samazinājusies, taču saistībā ar funkcionālajiem un aktivitāšu veikšanas ierobežojumiem, jo vērtējums ir 5,5 balles. Pētījuma mērķis: izpētīt krūts vēža pacientu dzīves kvalitātes ārstēšanas procesā stacionārā Pētījuma uzdevumi: 1. Savākt, apkopot un analizēt literatūru par krūts vēzi, tā cēloņiem un riska faktoriem. 2. Izstrādāt strukturētu aptaujas anketu; 3. Veikt respondentu atlasi; 4. Veikt respondentu aptauju, izmantojot strukturētu aptaujas anketu, kura izstrādāja darba autore un QOL Scale/Breast Cancer (Ferrell et al., 1995) 5. Apkopot un analizēt aptaujas rezultātus; 6. The topic of bachelors thesis: Evaluation of the quality of life for breast cancer patients in the treatment process. Breast cancer is becoming a common disease in Latvia as the number of women with malignant breast tumours in Latvia is increasing. Although the Ministry of Health is involved in reducing the spread of the disease by offering state-paid doctor visits and tests, the number of women diagnosed with malignant breast cancer is not decreasing. Breast cancer affects a woman’s quality of life, they become more tired, they are more likely to have insomnia, and they also become more dependent on society and family in terms of financial resources, because treatment is a very expensive process. The bachelors thesis has 3 chapter. The first chapter analyses foreign and Latvian literature on breast cancer, as well as describes the quality of life of women after the diagnosis of breast cancer. The second chapter describes the study participants, tools and its procedure. In the third chapter, the study is conducted using the quality of Life scale and the results of the study are described. According to the results of the research, it is conducted that the quality of life cancer patient’s can be improved not only by themselves, but also by other family members and friends, supporting breast cancer patients both mentally and financially. As average. The quality of life has decreased, but due to functional and activity limitations, as the score is 5.5 points. The aim of the study: to study the quality of life of breast cancer patients in the inpatient treatment process. Research tasks: 1. To collect, compile and analyse the literature on breast cancer, its causes and risk factors. 2. Develop a structured questionnaire. 3. To select respondents. 4. Conduct a survey of respondents using a structured questionnaire developed by the author and QOL Scale/ Breast Cancer (Ferrell et al., 1995) 5. Summarize and analyse the results of the survey. 6. Draw conclusions and make proposals. Research question: What is the quality of life for patients with breast cancer? Research methods: quantitative research method.
