Onkoloģisko pacientu apmierinātība ar sāpju pārvaldību ambulatorā aprūpē

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma – “Onkoloģisko pacientu apmierinātība ar sāpju pārvaldību ambulatorā aprūpē”. Pētījuma mērķis: Izvērtēt sāpju pārvaldību un onkoloģisko pacientu apmierinātību ambulatorajā aprūpē. Pēc Pasaules Veselības organizācijas vadlīnijām vēža sāpju pārvaldības mērķis ir sāpju mazināšana līdz tādam līmenim, kas ļauj sasniegt pieņemamu dzīves kvalitāti (World Health Organization, 2019). Sākotnējai un patstāvīgai sāpju novērtēšanai jābūt neatņemamai onkoloģisko pacientu aprūpes sastāvdaļai. Pētījuma ietvaros tika izvirzīti pētījuma jautājumi: Kāda ir sāpju pārvaldība onkoloģisko pacientu ambulatorajā aprūpē? Kāda ir onkoloģisko pacientu apmierinātība ar sāpju pārvaldību ambulatorajā aprūpē? Lai sasniegtu pētījuma izvirzīto mērķi tika veikts kvantitatīvs neeksperimentāls pētījums. Kā pētījuma instruments tika izmantots autores veidota anketa, kas balstīta uz pētījumu „Pain in clinical oncology: Patient satisfaction with management of cancer pain’’ (Anton, Montalar, Carulla, 2011). Anketu veido 23 jautājumi, kas sadalīti 5 blokos: demogrāfijas un vispārējie jautājumi, sāpju intensitātes izvērtējums, pacientu emocionālā pašsajūta, pacientu informētība, noskaidrotas pacientu prasības sāpju pārvaldībā. Pētījums tika veikts X pilsētas A, B primārās veselības aprūpes centros. Pētījumā piedalījās 100 onkoloģiski pacienti, kuri ir sasnieguši vismaz 18 gadu vecumu un ārstējas ambulatori. Pētījuma rezultāti norādīja ,ka onkoloģiskiem pacientiem ir zems novērtējuma līmenis sāpju pārvaldībā, to norāda 75% respondentu. Neskatoties uz to ,ka onkoloģiskiem pacientiem ir zems novērtējuma līmenis sāpju pārvaldībā, daļēji apmierinošs ir pacientu apmierinātības līmenis. Pētījuma iegūtie rezultāti liecina, ka vīrieši daudz retāk izvērtē sāpes nekā sievietes. Pētījuma rezultāti varētu būt noderīgs materiāls ambulatorās māsas darbā ar onkoloģiskiem pacientiem. Pētījuma metode un rezultāti atspoguļoti, 3 tabulās, 30 attēlos. Darbam ir 4 pielikumi. Informatīvo avotu sarakstā iekļautas 30 vienības, no kurām 8 latviešu valodā, 22 angļu valodā. The topic of the bachelor's work is "Satisfaction of oncology patients with pain management in outpatient care". Aim of the study: To evaluate pain management and satisfaction of oncology patients in outpatient care. According to the World Health Organization guidelines, the goal of cancer pain management is to reduce pain to a level that allows an acceptable quality of life to be achieved (World Health Organization, 2019). Initial and independent pain assessment should be an integral part of oncology patient care. The study raised research questions: What is pain management in outpatient care for oncology patients? How satisfied are oncology patients with pain management in outpatient care? In order to achieve the goal of the study, a quantitative non-experimental study was performed. The author's questionnaire based on the study "Pain in clinical oncology: Patient satisfaction with the management of cancer pain" was used as a research tool (Anton, Montalar, Carulla, 2011). The questionnaire consists of 23 questions divided into 5 blocks: demographics and general questions, assessment of pain intensity, patients 'emotional well-being, patient awareness, patients' requirements for pain management. The study was conducted in primary health care centers A, B of city X. The study involved 100 oncology patients who were at least 18 years old and receiving outpatient treatment. The results of the study indicated that oncology patients have a low level of assessment in pain management, which is indicated by 75% of respondents. Despite the low level of assessment of pain management in oncology patients, the level of patient satisfaction is partially satisfactory. The results of the study show that men are much less likely to evaluate pain than women. The results of the study could be a useful material for outpatient nurses working with oncology patients.
