Covid-19 atspoguļojums ziņu portālos Delfi.lv un LSM.lv periodā no 2020.gada janvārim līdz 2020.gada aprīlim

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Covid-19 atspoguļojums ziņu portālos LSM.lv un Delfi.lv periodā no 2020. gada janvāra, līdz 2020. gada aprīlim” darba mērķis ir analizēt abu ziņu portālu mediju dienaskārtību saistībā ar Covid-19 atspoguļošanu, pievēršot uzmanību ziņu kvalitātei. Pētījuma veikšanai tikta izmantota kvantitatīvā kontentanalīze, lai spētu efektīgāk apkopot datus par pētāmo saturu. Publikāciju analīzi autore veikusi balstoties uz dienaskārtības noteikšanas teoriju, kā arī teorētiskajā daļā aplūkotajiem ziņu kvalitātes kritērijiem.

The aim with the bachelors’s thesis “Covid-19 news coverage on the news portals Delfi.lv and LSM.lv during the period from january 2020 to april 2020” is to analyze the agenda of both news portals in connection with Covid-19 coverage, specifically paying attention to quality of news. Quantitative content analysis was used to conduct the study in order to be able to collect data on the studied content more efficiently. The author has analyzed the publications based on agenda-setting theory, as well as the news quality criteria discussed in the theoretical part.
