Sieviešu apmierinātības rādītāji par ārstniecības personāla sniegto atbalstu zīdīšanas procesā.

Abstract

Pēc Slimību profilakses un kontroles centra datiem 2018. gadā 83,1% jaundzimušo tika zīdīti dzemdību zālē un dzemdību nodaļā zīdīšana nodrošināta 79,9% gadījumu (SPKC, 2020). Salīdzinot pieejamos datus par zīdīšanu Latvijā, no 2019. gada līdz 2022. gadam procentuāli no visiem uzskaitē esošajiem viengadīgajiem bērniem, krūts barošanas incidence ir samazinājusies. Pēc Pasaules Veselības organizācijas datiem, 2023. gadā pirmos sešus mēnešus ekskluzīvi zīdīti tika baroti 48% bērnu (WHO, 2023). Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Sieviešu apmierinātības rādītāji par ārstniecības personāla sniegto atbalstu zīdīšanas procesā”. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot sieviešu apmierinātības rādītājus divās vecuma grupās ar ārstniecības personāla sniegto atbalstu zīdīšanas procesā. Pirms bakalaura darba uzsākšanas tika izvirzīta hipotēze: “Pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības starp sieviešu apmierinātības rādītāju ar ārstniecības personu sniegto atbalstu zīdīšanas procesā dažādās vecuma grupās”. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no literatūras apskata un praktiskās daļas. Praktiskajā daļā pētījuma datu ievākšanai izmantots neeksperimentāls, aprakstošs salīdzinājuma, šķērsgriezuma pētījums, izmantojot darba autores pielāgotu anketu. Pētījumā pēc brīvprātības principa piedalījās 302 respondenti. Pētījuma rezultātā tika sasniegts pētījuma mērķis un noraidīta izvirzītā hipotēze. Pētījumā tika noskaidrots, ka nepastāv statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības starp sieviešu apmierinātības rādītāju ar ārstniecības personāla sniegto atbalstu zīdīšanas procesā. Lai noskaidrotu, kā mainījies zīdīšanas atbalsts pēc dzemdībām, sievietēm, kurām bijusi iepriekšēja pieredze, tika lūgts norādīt, vai atbalsts ir uzlabojies, nemainījies vai pasliktinājies. Lielākā daļa respondentu abās vecuma grupās norādīja, ka atbalsts nav mainījies. Secinājumi: Sievietes, kuras bija saņēmušas iepriekšēju zīdīšanas atbalstu, visbiežāk norādīja, ka atbalsta daudzums un kvalitāte nav mainījusies, taču vairāk nekā viena trešdaļa no respondentiem norādīja, ka aprūpes kvalitāte ir uzlabojusies. Vairums sieviešu abās vecuma grupās pilnībā piekrita, ka bija apmierinātas ar saņemto iedrošinājumu un atbalstu. According to data from Center for Disease Prevention and Control in 2018 83,1% of all newborns were breastfed in the delivery hall and in the maternity ward – 79,9% (SPKC, 2020). Comparing the available data of all registered one-year olds in Latvia from 2019 till 2022, the percentage of breastfeeding incidence has decreased. According to data from World Health Organisation in 2023 the percentage of newborns that were exclusively breastfed was 48% (WHO, 2023). The subject of the bachelor’s work is “Women’s satisfaction indicators with the support provided by the medical personnel in the breastfeeding process”. The aim of the work is to find out women’s satisfaction indicators in two age groups with the support provided by the medical personnel in the breastfeeding process. Before starting the bachelor’s work, a hypothesis was put forward: “There is a statistical significance between women’s satisfaction indicators with the support provided by the medical personnel in the breastfeeding process in different age groups”. The bachelors work consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the practical part of the study was done using a non-experimental, descriptive comparative cross-sectional study, using a questionnaire that was created by the author of the paper. 302 respondents participated in the study on a voluntary basis. As a result of the study, the aim of the study was reached and the hypothesis was rejected. Research showed that there is not a statistical significance between women’s satisfaction indicators with the support provided by the medical personnel in the breastfeeding process in different age groups. To find out how the support of breastfeeding had changed after childbirth, the women were asked to point out if the support has increased, stayed the same or decreased. Most of the respondents pointed out that the support hadn’t changed. In conclusion: the women that had received breastfeeding support more often pointed out that the amount and quality of the support hadn’t changed however more than a third of respondents pointed out that the quality of care by the staff had improved. Most of the women in both age groups fully agreed that they were satisfied by encouragement and support received from the staff.
