Novērtēšanas instrumenta Multimodālās komunikācijas novērtēšana personām ar afāziju komunikācijas sadaļas latviskā tulkojuma ticamības pārbaude

Abstract

Darba nosaukums: Novērtēšanas instrumenta Multimodālās komunikācijas novērtēšana personām ar afāziju komunikācijas sadaļas latviskā tulkojuma ticamības pārbaude Pētījuma mērķis: Tulkot Multimodālās komunikācijas novērtēšanu personām ar afāziju (‘‘The multimodal communication screening task for persons with aphasia”) un pārbaudīt komunikācijas sadaļas tulkojuma ticamību. Pētījuma uzdevumi: 1.Instrumenta tulkošana vadoties pēc Starptautiskās Testa Komisijas tulkošanas un pielāgošanas vadlīnijām; 2.Veikt pētījumu, pārbaudot saprotamību novērtēšanas instrumenta latviskai versijai komunikācijas sadaļai; 3.Pārbaudīt tulkotā instrumenta versijas komunikācijas sadaļas ticamību. Metodes: Balstoties uz Starptautiskās Testa Komisijas tulkošanas un adaptēšanas vadlīnijām, tika tulkots novērtēšanas materiāls "Multimodālās komunikācijas novērtēšanu personām ar afāziju”. Pētījumā bija seši pētījuma dalībnieki.Dalībniekiem tika novērtēts materiāls divas reizes ar vienas nedēļas ilgu intervālu starp abām novērtēšanas reizēm. Izmantojot aprakstošo statistiku, tika aprakstīti iegūtie dati. Rezultāti: Aprēķinot Crobach’s Alpha koeficentu, tika iegūts rezultāts α=0,600, tas nozīmē, ka ir nepietiekama iekšējā saskaņotība. Tomēr jāņem vērā, ka koeficients ir tik zems, sakarā ar to, ka ir nepietiekams pētījuma dalībnieku daudzums. Kā arī šī iemesla dēļ nebija iespējams veikt testa-retesta ticamības pārbaudi. Secinājumi: Ar novērtēšanas instrumentu “Multimodālās komunikācijas novērtēšana personām ar afāziju” komunikācijas sadaļas latviskais tulkojumu var veikt novērtēšanu, jo pētījuma dalībnieki saprot un norāda uz atbildēm, bet nevar secināt, ka tulkojums ir veiksmīgs, jo ir maza populācija. Lai varētu iegūt statistiski nozīmīgus datus, var veikt atkārtotu pētījumu novērtēšanas instrumenta “Multimodālās komunikācijas novērtēšana personām ar afāziju” komunikācijas sadaļas latviskā tulkojuma saprotamības pārbaudei ar lielāku pētījuma dalībnieku skaitu, lai varētu iegūt statistiski nozīmīgus datus.

Title: Reliability check of the Latvian translation of the communication section of the evoluation tool ‘‘The Multimodal Communication Screening Task for Persons with Aphasia” Aim of the study: Translate "The multimodal communication screening task for persons with aphasia" and check the reliability of the translation of the communication section. Tasks of the study: 1. Translate of the instrument according to the International Test Commission Guidelines for Translating and Adapting Tests; 2. Conduct a study, checking the comprehensibility of the Latvian version of the evaluation tool for the communication section; 3. Check the reliability of the communication section of the translated instrument. Methods: Based on the translation and adaptation guidelines of the International Test Commission Guidelines for Translating and Adapting Tests, the evaluation material "The Multimodal Communication Screening Task for Persons with Aphasia" was translated. The study included six participants. They were evaluated twice with a one-week interval between the two evaluations. Using descriptive statistics, the obtained data was described. Results: Calculating the Crobach's Alpha coefficient gave a result of α=0.600, which means that there is insufficient internal consistency. However, it should be noted that the coefficient is so low due to the insufficient number of study participants. Also, for this reason, it was not possible to conduct a test-retest reliability test. Conclusion: With the evaluation tool " The Multimodal Communication Screening Task for Persons with Aphasia ", the Latvian translation of the communication section can be used to evaluate because the study participants understand and point to the answers, but it cannot be concluded that the translation is successful because of the small population. In order to be able to obtain statistically significant data, a repeated study can be conducted to check the comprehensibility of the Latvian translation of the communication section of the assessment tool "Assessment of multimodal communication for persons with aphasia" with a larger number of research participants, in order to be able to obtain statistically significant data.
