Novērtēšanas instrumenta ‘‘Multimodālās komunikācijas novērtēšana personām ar afāziju’’ pareizrakstības sadaļas latviskā tulkojuma ticamības pārbaude

Abstract

Darba nosaukums: Novērtēšanas instrumenta ‘‘Multimodālās komunikācijas novērtēšana personām ar afāziju’’ pareizrakstības sadaļas latviskā tulkojuma ticamības pārbaude. Pētījuma mērķis: Veikt Multimodālās komunikācijas novērtēšanas personām ar afāziju (''The multimodal communication screening task for persons with aphasia'') tulkojumu un pārbaudīt tulkojuma ticamību pareizrakstības sadaļai. Pētījuma uzdevumi: 1. Veikt instrumenta tulkošanu latviešu valodā saskaņā ar Starptautiskās Testa Komisijas tulkošanas un adaptēšanas vadlīnijām; 2. Veikt pētījumu novērtēšanas instrumenta latviskā tulkojuma saprotamības pārbaude pareizrakstības sadaļai; 3. Pārbaudīt tulkojuma ticamību novērtēšanas instrumenta pareizrakstības sadaļai. Metodes: Novērtēšanas instruments ''Multimodālās komunikācijas novērtēšana personām ar afāziju'' tika tulkots latviešu valodā no angļu valodas, balstoties uz Starptautiskās Testa Komisijas tulkošanas un adaptēšanas vadlīnijām. Pētījumā piedalījās seši dalībnieki, kuri tika lūgti izpildīt novērtēšanas materiālu divas reizes ar vienas nedēļas intervālu. Iegūtie dati tika analizēti ar aprakstošo statistiku. Rezultāti: Tika noteikts, ka Cronbach's Alpha koeficients ir α = 0,935 (augsta iekšējā saskaņotība), tomēr šie rezultāti nav ticami, jo ir neliels pētījuma dalībnieku skaits. Testa-retesta ticamību nebija iespējams noteikt, sakarā ar nelielu pētījuma dalībnieku skaits. Secinājumi: Šo novērtēšanas instrumenta ''Multimodālās komunikācijas novērtēšana personām ar afāziju'' pareizrakstības sadaļas latvisko tulkojumu var izmantot, lai veiktu novērtēšanu, bet nevar apgalvot, ka tulkojums ir ticams, sakarā ar mazu pētījuma dalībnieku skaitu. Ir nepieciešams veikt atkārtotu pētījumu šī novērtēšanas instrumenta pareizrakstības sadaļas latviskā tulkojuma saprotamības pārbaudei ar vairākiem pētījuma dalībniekiem, lai varētu veiktu statistiskus aprēķinus par iegūtajiem datiem un veikt secinājumus.

Tasks of the study: 1. Translate the evaluation tool in Latvian in accordance with the International Test Commission Guidelines for Translating and Adaptating Tests; 2. Conduct a comprehensibility check of the Latvian translation of the evaluation tool for the spelling section; 3. Check the reliability of the translation for the spelling section of the assessment tool. Methods: The evaluation tool "The Multimodal Communication Screening Task for Persons with Aphasia" was translated into Latvian from English, based on the International Test Commission Guidelines for Translating and Adaptating Tests. The study involved six participants who were asked to complete the assessment material twice, one week apart. The obtained data were analyzed with descriptive statistics. Results: The Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was determined to be α = 0.935 (high internal consistency), however, these results are not reliable due to the small number of study participants. Test-retest reliability could not be determined due to the small number of study participants. Conclusion: This Latvian translation of the spelling section of the evaluation tool "The Multimodal Communication Screening Task for Persons with Aphasia" can be used for evaluation, but it cannot be claimed that the translation is reliable due to the small number of study participants. It is necessary to conduct a repeated study to check the comprehensibility of the Latvian translation of the spelling section of this evaluation tool with several research participants, so that statistical calculations can be made on the obtained data and conclusions can be drawn.
