Līderības stilu izvērtējums Latvijas jaunuzņēmējdarbības vidē

Abstract

Pēdējos 10 gados jaunuzņēmējdarbība Latvijā ir guvusi plašāku atpazīstamību. Tai ir liels potenciāls dot pozitīvu pienesumu Latvijas ekonomikai. Jaunuzņēmējdarbības attīstību pierāda jaunuzņēmumu darbības atbalsta likums, atbalsta rīku un pasākumu izplatība Latvijā. Ikkatru gadu Latvijā tiek dibināti aptuveni 50 jaunuzņēmumi. Laika gaitā mainās arī līderības tendences un stili. Jaunuzņēmējdarbības attīstībai ir vajadzīgi mūsdienīgi līderi, kas spēj iedvesmot un pārliecināt par ideju realizāciju. Pētījuma “Līderības stilu izvērtējums Latvijas jaunuzņēmējdarbības vidē” mērķis ir konstatēt izplatītāko līderības stilu Latvijas jaunuzņēmumu vidē, kā arī izprast, vai tas ir piemērots jaunuzņēmējdarbībai un tās attīstībai. Pētījumā izmantota monogrāfiskā metode, sekundāro datu analīzes metode, kā arī kvantitatīvā un kvalitatīvā pētniecības metode. Darbs sniedz vispārīgu ieskatu teorijā par jaunuzņēmējdarbību un līderību, aplūko galvenos rādītājus, kas saistīti ar jaunuzņēmējdarbības vidi un līderību, sniedz ekspertu un Latvijas jaunuzņēmumu darbinieku viedokli par Latvijas jaunuzņēmumu līderiem, viņu potenciālu uzlabot jaunuzņēmējdarbības vidi Latvijā. Pētījumā secināts, ka Latvijā nav daudz cilvēku, kas no dabas ir līderi. Latvieši neizvēlas pievērsties jaunuzņēmējdarbībai, jo tajā jāuzņemas risks, liela daļa procesu notiek nenoteiktībā, kas nav raksturīgas darbības Latvijas sabiedrībai kopumā. Lai attīstītu jaunuzņēmējdarbības vidi Latvijā, nepieciešama ne tikai atbalsta rīku kritēriju pārskatīšana un iespējama atvieglošana, bet arī sabiedrības informēšana par jaunuzņēmējdarbību kopumā, tās perspektīvām un risku, par līderību un jaunuzņēmējdarbību informējoši semināri, pasākumi. Pētījuma gaitā izvirzīti priekšlikumi: kā paātrināt vienota jaunuzņēmējdarbībā iesaistīto organizāciju tīkla izveidi, kā arī uzlabot pieejamāku un kvalitatīvāku informāciju par jaunuzņēmējdarbību kopumā un līderības nozīmīgumu tās izaugsmē, veidojot atbilstošus pasākumus un apmācības. Bakalaura darbs veidots uz 60 lapām, tajā iekļautas 3 tabulas un 5 attēli. Darbā izmantoti 48 dažādi informācijas avoti un pievienoti 7 pielikumi. Throughout the last decade Start-up entrepreneurship in Latvia has gained more recognition. It has great potential to make a positive contribution to the Latvian economy. The new Latvian Startup law was introduced in 2017. and each year there are around 50 new startups registered in Latvia, as well as new events and support services regarding startup have been created, which shows a development of startup entrepreneurship in Latvia. The aim of the bachelor thesis “Leadership style Evaluation in the Latvian Start-up environment.” is to define the most common leadership style in the Latvian start-up environment and to understand whether it is suitable for the start-up environment. The following methods were used in the research: monographic method, secondary data analysis method, quantitative and qualitative methods. The research provides a general insight into the theory of start-ups and leadership, looks at the main indicators about start-up environment and leadership in Latvia, as well as provides information from industry experts and employees of Latvian start-ups and their leaders and whether they could have a good impact on the growth of the start-up environment. The research concludes that there aren’t many people in Latvia who are naturally oriented towards being a leader. Start-up business is not common for Latvians since it is necessary to take risks and work in uncertainty, which are not typical for Latvian culture. In order to develop the startup environment in Latvia, it is necessary not only to review the criteria for the possible support tools, but also it is necessary to spread the knowledge about startups in general and the need to take risks. Based the research, the following proposals have been put forward: speeding up the establishment of a joint network between the organizations involved in start-up environment, as well establishing a better information stream about leadership and start-ups in general for the society as by organizing appropriate seminars and events. The research is based on 60 pages, it includes 3 tables and 5 pictures. 48 different sources of information have been used in the research and there have been 7 appendices added.
