Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izveidot dokumentālu īsfilmu par Geocaching, aktivitāti, kā varonis to saprot un redz, kā arī parādīt skatītājiem šo interesanto aktivitāti nodemonstrējot cik tā ir vienkārša un interesanta. Īsfilma “Geocaching” ir balstīta uz performatīvā un līdzdalības tipa dokumentālās īsfilmas tipu. Filmas varonis ir šī bakalaura darba veidotājs un pašam piedaloties filmā tā t;a top par līdzdalības tipa dokumentālu īsfilmu. Filma ir par mieru, klusumu, dabas izzināšanu to apvienojot ar interesantu aktivitāti, kuras laikā cilvēks attīsta savu domāšanu un fizisko sagatavotību, kā arī par apslēptu dārgumu meklēšanu dabā. Filmā redzami daudz kadru uzņemšanas veidu, kas to arī padara par performatīvā tipa dokumentālo īsfilmu. Filmas uzņemšanā, vietās, kur bija redzami kustīgi kadri un sekojošas kameras efekts palīdzēja kāds tuvs varoņa cilvēks filmējot to kustībā. Tika uzņemti varoņa skata punkta kadri un arī drona kadri, kurus palīdzēja īstenot arī tuvs varoņa cilvēks. Geocaching ir pasaules mēroga aktivitāte un ar to nodarbojās dažādu vecumu cilvēki. Tā ir balstīta uz lietotni, kurā ievietotas koordinātas un norādes par cilvēku izveidotiem slēpņiem, kurus iespējams ik vienam lietotājam meklēt, tas padara aktivitāti interesantu, jo slēpņu daudzveidība ir liela un katrs ar kaut ko atšķiras. Geocaching aktivitātes laikā cilvēki atrodas dabā un tas ir noderīgs veids, kā apvienot kaut ko veselīgu un fizisku ar kaut ko interesantu. Slēpņošana ir kā dārgumu medības, ļaujot aktivitātes spēlētājiem pielietot dažādas zināšanas un domāšanu to atrašanai. Tā ir bezmaksas aktivitāte ik vienam jaunam interesentam, kā arī ir pieejama maksas versija ar daudz vairāk iespējām lietotnē. Dokumentālā īsfilma tika uzņemta izmantojot četras kameras ar video ierakstīšanas funkciju. Pēc apstrādes tika izveidota dokumentāla īsfilma par slēpņošanas sajūtām, tās pozitīvajām ietekmēm, aktīvām un interesantām pieredzēm, kā arī brīvību un nesamākslotām emocijām. Īsfilma ir ievietota platformā YouTube un tā ir 20 minūtes un 22 sekundes gara.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to create a documentary short film about Geocaching, an activity as understood and seen by the protagonist, and to show the audience this interesting activity by demonstrating how simple and engaging it is. The short film "Geocaching" is based on the performative and participatory types of documentary short films. The protagonist of the film is the creator of this bachelor's thesis, and by participating in the film himself, it becomes a participatory documentary short film. The film is about peace, silence, and exploring nature, combined with an interesting activity that helps develop one's thinking and physical fitness, as well as the search for hidden treasures in nature. The film features many different filming techniques, making it a performative documentary short film. During the filming, in scenes where there were moving shots and the following camera effect, a close associate of the protagonist helped by filming in motion. Point-of-view shots of the protagonist and drone footage were also taken with the help of a close associate. Geocaching is a worldwide activity enjoyed by people of various ages. It is based on an app that contains coordinates and hints about caches created by people, which any user can search for. This makes the activity interesting because of the great variety of caches, each differing in some way. During Geocaching, people are outdoors, making it a beneficial way to combine something healthy and physical with something interesting. Geocaching is like a treasure hunt, allowing participants to use various skills and thinking to find them. It is a free activity for any new enthusiast, with a paid version available that offers many more features in the app. The documentary short film was shot using four cameras with video recording capabilities. After processing, a documentary short film was created about the feelings of Geocaching, its positive effects, active and interesting experiences, as well as freedom and unfeigned emotions. The short film is uploaded on YouTube and is 20 minutes and 22 seconds long.
