Izdegšanas tendences psihiatrijas pacientu aprūpē strādājošām māsām saistībā ar darba stāžu profesijā

Abstract

Māsu profesionālais darbs ir viens no visvairāk stresam pakļautajiem, turklāt tieši psihiatrijas pacientu aprūpē strādājošas māsas ir vairāk pakļautas izdegšanai, tomēr Latvijā plaši pētījumi par psihiatrijas pacientu aprūpē strādājošo māsu izdegšanas problēmu nav veikti. Pētījuma ietvaros veikts literatūras apskats par stresu un profesionālo izdegšanu māsām, analizēta izdegšanas simptomu izplatība un saistība ar darba stāžu psihiatrijas aprūpē strādājošām māsām. Pētījuma mērķis: novērtēt izdegšanas tendences psihiatrijas pacientu aprūpē strādājošajām māsām atkarībā no darba stāža profesijā. Pētījuma uzdevumi: 1. Novērtēt psihiatrijas pacientu aprūpē strādājošo māsu izdegšanas līmeņus pa grupām atkarībā no darba stāža. 2. Salīdzināt izdegšanas līmeņus psihiatrijas pacientu aprūpē strādājošajām māsām. Hipotēze: Māsām ar lielāku darba stāžu ir zemāks izdegšanas līmenis. Metode: Kvantitatīvs, neeksperimentāls salīdzinošs šķērsgriezuma pētījums. Instruments: Izdegšanas novērtējuma instruments (BAT). Rezultāti: Pētījumā iekļauti 108 respondenti. Pēc datu analīzes, var secināt, ka statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības starp darba stāža grupām un BAT rādītājiem netiek novērotas. Veiktais Kruskal – Wallis tests ļauj secināt, ka starp grupām nav statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības, jo p = 0,970.

The professional work of nurses is one of the most stressful, moreover, it is precisely nurses working in psychiatric care who are prone to burnout, however, in Latvia, extensive research on the problem of burnout of nurses working in the care of psychiatric patients has not been conducted. Within the framework of the study, a literature review was conducted on stress and professional burnout in nurses, the prevalence of burnout symptoms and their relationship with the length of service of nurses working in psychiatric care were analyzed. The purpose of the study: to assess the burnout tendencies of nurses working in the care of psychiatric patients, depending on the length of service in the profession. Research tasks: 1. To evaluate the burnout levels of nurses working in the care of psychiatric patients by groups depending on the length of service. 2. To compare the burnout levels of nurses working in the care of psychiatric patients. Hypothesis: Nurses with more seniority have lower levels of burnout. Method: Quantitative, non-experimental comparative cross-sectional study. Tool: Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT). Results: The study included 108 respondents. After analyzing the data, it can be concluded that statistically significant differences between seniority groups and BAT indicators are not observed. The performed Kruskal-Wallis test allows us to conclude that there is no statistically significant difference between the groups, as p = 0.970.
