Grūtības paliatīvu pacientu aprūpes procesā

Abstract

Anotācija Aprūpes personāls, strādājot paliatīvajā nodaļā, darba gaitā saskaras ar dažāda veida grūtībām. Svarīgi noskaidrot, kādas tas ir un kā viņus pārvarēt. Šajā pētījuma apkopoti paliatīvu aprūpes nodaļu ārstniecības personāla aptaujas rezultāti. Māsas un māsu palīgi atbildēja uz piecu kategoriju apgalvojumiem (15 apgalvojumi), kuras bija saistītas ar paliatīviem pacientiem. Kategorijas bija tādas: komunikācija multidisciplinārā komandā, komunikācija ar pacientu un ģimenes locekļiem, speciālistu atbalsts, simptomu mazināšana un pakalpojuma pēctecības koordinēššana. Pētījuma mērķis: Noskaidrot, ar kādām grūtībām saskaras aprūpes personāls, aprūpējot paliatīvo pacientu. Pētījuma metodes: a) Pētījuma dalībnieki. Pētījumā piedalījās 70 ārstniecības personas vecumā no 22 līdz 73 gadiem, kas strādā paliatīvajā aprūpes nodaļā. b) Pētījuma instruments. Darba mērķa sasniegšanai tika izmantota kvantitatīvā metode, pētījumā tika izmantota Paliatīvās aprūpes grūtību noteikšanas skala (Palliative Care Difficulties Scale (PCDS , Nakazawa et al, 2010), kas ir papildināta ar darba autores izveidotiem demogrāfiskiem jautājumiem. c) Pētījuma procedūra. Pirms ārstniecības personu aptaujas uzsākšanas tika saņemtas atļaujas par pētījuma veikšanu no veselības aprūpes iestādēm Rīgā, Vidzemē, Kurzemē ar paliatīvās aprūpes nodaļām. Respondenti, kuri piekrita piedalīties pētījumā, tika informēti par pētījuma būtību, mērķi un norisi. Anketas bija iespēja aizpildīt gan elektroniskajā, gan papīra formātā. Pētījuma apjoms: 19.lpp., 25 izmantotie literatūras avoti un četri pielikumi Atslēgas vārdi: paliatīvā aprūpe, grūtības, māsa.

Annotation The care staff, working in the palliative ward, face various kinds of difficulties in the course of their work. It is important to find out what they are and how to overcome them. This study summarizes the results of a survey of the medical staff of palliative care departments. Nurses and nursing assistants responded to five categories of statements (15 statements) related to palliative patients. The categories were: communication in a multidisciplinary team, communication with patient and family members, specialist support, symptom relief and coordination of service succession. Bachelor thesis objectives: To find out what difficulties the nursing staff faces when caring for the palliative patient. Research methods: a) Study participants. 70 medical personnel aged between 22 and 73 working in the palliative care department participated in the study. b) Research instrument. A quantitative method was used to achieve the goal of the work, the Palliative Care Difficulties Scale (PCDS, Nakazawa et al, 2010) was used in the study, which is supplemented with demographic questions created by the author of the work. c) Research procedure. Before starting the survey of medical personnel, permission to conduct the study was received from health care institutions in Riga, Vidzeme, Kurzeme with palliative care departments. Respondents who agreed to participate in the study were informed about the nature, purpose and progress of the study. Questionnaires could be filled in both electronic and paper format.
