Morālais distress un darba kolektīva psiholoģiskais klimats neiroloģijā praktizējošām māsām

Abstract

Morālais distress veicina ne tikai personīgo diskomfortu māsām, bet var negatīvi ietekmēt aprūpes kvalitāti un pacienta labklājību. Māsas, kuras ikdienā saskaras ar augstu morālo distresu var piedzīvot emocionālu izdegšanu, samazinātu apmierinātību ar darbu un pat veselības problēmām. Morālais distress traucē efektīvu komandas darbu, samazinot sadarbību un atbalstu kolēģu vidū. Baidoties paust savas domas skaļi, tiek veicināta nospiedoša atmosfēra starp darba kolēģiem. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot darba kolektīva psiholoģiskā klimata un morālā distresa rādītāju saistību neiroloģijā praktizējošām māsām. Lai sasniegtu pētījuma mērķi tika aptaujātas neiroloģijā praktizējošas māsas, kuras strādā Latvijā, IV vai V līmeņa ārstniecības iestādēs. Tika izmantota ērtuma metode, aptaujājot viegli pieejamos dalībniekus pēc brīvprātīguma principa. Laika posmā no 2024.gada janvāra līdz 2024.gada aprīlim tika saņemtas 126 derīgas respondentu atbildes, vecumā no 23 līdz 68 gadiem, (M= 38,87), SD = ±11.16 no kuriem 116 jeb 92,1% bija sievietes. Tika apstiprināta pētījuma izvirzītā hipotēze, ka pastāv saistība starp morālo distresu un darba kolektīva psiholoģiskā klimata rādītājiem neiroloģijā praktizējošām māsām. Pastāv cieša statistiski nozīmīga saistība starp morālā distresa līmeni un darba kolektīva psiholoģis-ko klimatu (p<0.001). Palielinoties morālā distresa rādītājiem, pasliktinās darba kolektīva psiholoģiskais klimats. Tika konstatēts, ka 63.5 % no visiem dalībniekiem, atrodas “vidējā” un “augstā” morālā distresa līmeņa kategorijā. Darbs sastāv no 40 lapaspusēm, pielikumiem. Kopumā darbā tika izmantoti 35 literatūras avoti.

Moral distress not only contributes to personal discomfort for nurses, but can also have a ne-gative impact on the quality of care and patient well-being. Nurses who experience high levels of moral distress on a daily basis may experience emotional burnout, reduced job sa-tisfaction and even health problems. Moral distress interferes with effective teamwork by reducing cooperation and support among colleagues. Fear of speaking up contributes to a depressing atmosphere among colleagues. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between psychological climate of the work team and indicators of moral distress in nurses practising in neurology. To achieve the aim of the study, a survey was conducted among nurses working in neurology in level IV or V medical institutions in Latvia. A convenience method was used, inter-viewing easily accessible participants on a voluntary basis. 126 valid responses were recei-ved between January 2024 and April 2024 from respondents aged 23-68 years, (M= 38.87), SD = 11.16 of whom 116 or 92.1% were female. The hypothesis of the study that there is a relationship between moral distress and the psychological climate of the work team in nurses practising in neurology was confirmed. The research hypothesis was confirmed. There is a strong statistically significant relationship between the level of moral distress and the psychological climate of the work team (p<0.001). As the level of moral distress increases, the psychological climate of the work team deteriorates. It was found that 63.5% of all participants were in the "medium" and "high" moral distress level categories. The thesis consists of 40 pages, appendices. A total of 35 literature sources were used in the thesis.
