Alkoholisms ģimenē – jauniešu pieredzes attēlojums fotokolāžās (radošais darbs)

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs “Alkoholisms ģimenē – jauniešu pieredzes attēlojums fotokolāžās” ir starpdisciplinārs radošais darbs, kas veidots ar pētniecisku ievirzi, izmantojot kvalitatīvās pētniecības metodes datu ievākšanai un fotokolāžu izstrādi kā radošu vēstījuma tehniku un risinājumu. Bakalaura darbā tiek analizēti laikmetīgajai mākslai raksturīgie sociālpolitiskās un sociālkritiskās mākslas koncepti un iezīmes, kas skaidro dažādu sociālu problēmu, tajā skaitā arī alkoholisma, reprezentāciju vizuālajā kultūrā. Bakalaura darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatītas tādas tēmas kā sociālpolitiski kritiska māksla, traumas, atmiņu un ģimenes attiecību pētniecība mākslā, un līdzdalības mākslas prakses. Aprakstītas tādas laikmetīgās un konceptuālās mākslas iezīmēs kā antimāksla, antiestētika, tāpat arī akcentēta vizuālās pētniecības metodēm raksturīgā etnogrāfiskā, arhīvu un vernakulārās fotogrāfijas izpēte. Kā labas prakses piemēri analizēti vairāki ārzemju un arī Latvijas mākslinieki, kuru daiļradē saskatāma sociālkritiska ievirze. Papildus tiek aprakstītas teorētiskās atziņas par fotokolāžu kā laikmetīgās mākslas formu, analizējot tās attīstību un dažādiem mākslas virzieniem raksturīgās kolāžas izpausmes tendences, atsaucoties uz ievērojamu mākslinieku daiļradi. Teorētiskajā daļā apskatīti arī koncepti, kas skaidro alkoholisma problēmu un alkoholismu ģimenē, apkopojot psihopatoloģijas pētnieku atziņas par negatīvo ietekmi un potenciāliem attīstības riskiem bērniem, kas auguši šādos apstākļos. Bakalaura darba koncepcija iekļauj arī pētniecisko daļu, kurā apkopoti dati no intervijām ar 4 jaunietēm un 1 jaunieti, vecumā no 20 līdz 23, kas ģimenē ir pieredzējuši viena vai abu vecāku alkoholisma problēmu. Pētījuma dalībnieki dalās savās pieredzēs un atmiņās no bērnības, kā arī raksturo situāciju tagad. Rezultātā, balstoties uz iegūtajiem datiem, tiek izstrādāts radošais darbs – izveidotas 10 fotokolāžas, kas ir kā vizuāls komentārs, kas ilustrē jauniešu pieredzes, dzīvojot ģimenē ar alkoholisma problēmu.

The bachelor thesis “Alcoholism in the family – representation of youth experiences in photo collages” is an interdisciplinary creative work with a research orientation, using qualitative research methods for data collection and photocollage design as a creative message technique and solution. The bachelor thesis analyses the socio-political and socio-critical concepts and features of contemporary art, which explain the representation of various social problems, including alcoholism, in visual culture. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with topics such as socio-political critical art, the study of trauma, memories and family relations in art, and participatory art practices. Contemporary and conceptual art features such as anti-art and anti-aesthetics are described, as well as the ethnographic, archival and vernacular photography characteristics of visual research methods are emphasised. Several foreign and local Latvian artists whose work has a social-critical orientation are analysed as examples of good practice. The theory also describes photocollage as a contemporary art form, analysing its development and the tendencies of collage expression characteristic of different art movements, referring to the work of prominent artists. The theoretical part additionally discusses the concepts that explain the problem of alcoholism and alcoholism in the family, summarising the findings of psychopathology researchers on the negative effects and potential developmental risks for children raised in such conditions. The bachelor thesis design also includes a research part, in which data is collected from interviews with 4 young women and 1 young man, aged between 20 and 23, who have experienced the problem of alcoholism in the family of one or both parents. The participants share their experiences and memories from their childhood and describe the situation now. The resulting creative work is based on the data collected – 10 photo collages are created which is perceived as a visual commentary illustrating young people's experiences of living in a family with an alcohol problem.
