Pacientu informētība un gatavība transezofageālās ehokardiogrāfijas procedūras veikšanai

Abstract

Transezofageālā ehokardiogrāfija ir invazīva procedūra, kas paredz zondes ievadīšanu caur barības vadu. Lai gan smagas komplikācijas ir sastopamas ārkārtīgi reti, tomēr neatbilstošas pacienta sagatavotības gadījumā iespējami sarežģījumi, kā arī pieaug neveiksmīga izmeklējuma risks. Izprotot faktorus, kas ietekmē pacientu gatavību procedūrai, būtu iespēja uzlabot procedūras kvalitāti, nodrošinot precīzāku diagnozi un ārstēšanu, kā arī minimizējot komplikāciju iespējamību. Pētījuma mērķis: Novērtēt pacientu informētību par TEE procedūras veikšanu un izpētīt faktorus, kas var ietekmēt pacientu informētību un gatavību procedūrai. Hipotēze: Pacientu informētība un atbilstoši gatavība TEE procedūrai ir tieši atkarīga no informētības kvalitātes, ko sniedz iestādē. Metode: kvantitatīvs neeksperimentāls, šķērsgriezuma pētījums, dispersiju ANOVA analīze. Instruments: Darba autores izstrādāta aptaujas anketa Pētījuma rezultāti. Pacientiem ir augsts stresa līmenis pirms procedūras, tam ir saistība ar informētīnas līmeni – 47% (+/- 6%) respondentu norādīja, ka nav apmierināti ar to, kā medicīnas personāls ir informējis par procedūru. Pīrsona korelācijas koeficenta aprēķins atklāj pozitīvu ciešu korelāciju starp apgalvojumiem “Man ir dota iespēja uzdot jautājumus par TEE procedūru” un “Man ir skaidri izskaidrots, kādas var būt TEE procedūras blakusparādības”, tomēr vairāk kā puse respondentu atzīst, ka viņiem nav dota iespēja uzdot papildus jautājumus. Pastāv nozīmīgas atšķirības pacientu sagatavotībā dažādās ārstniecības iestādēs, kas rada nepieciešamību pētīt tuvāk tā cēloņus. Although severe complications are extremely rare, complications are possible in the case of inadequate patient preparation, and the risk of an unsuccessful examination increases. Understanding the factors that affect the readiness of patients for the procedure would improve the quality of the procedure, providing more accurate diagnosis and treatment, as well as minimizing the possibility of complications. The purpose of the study: To assess patients' awareness of performing the TEE procedure and to investigate the factors that can affect patients' awareness and readiness for the procedure. Hypothesis: Patients' awareness and appropriate preparation for the TEE procedure directly depends on the quality of information provided in the institution. Method: quantitative non-experimental, cross-sectional study, ANOVA analysis of variance. Instrument: a questionnaire developed by the author of the paper Research results. Patients have a high level of stress before the procedure, it is related to the level of information - 47% (+/- 6%) of the respondents indicated that they were not satisfied with how the medical staff informed about the procedure. The calculation of the Pearson correlation coefficient reveals a positive strong correlation between the statements "I have been given the opportunity to ask questions about the TEE procedure" and "It has been clearly explained to me what the side effects of the TEE procedure may be", however, more than half of the respondents admit that they have not been given the opportunity to ask additional questions questions. There are significant differences in the preparation of patients in different medical institutions, which makes it necessary to study its causes more closely.
