Abstract: | Māsu darbs pieprasa no darbinieka daudz enerģijas, dēļ patstāvīgām rūpēm pret
Bakalaura darbs sastāv no 32 lapaspusēm. Tika izmantoti
32 informācijas avoti ar 3 pielikumiem, 8 tabulām un 18 attēliem. Nursing work requires a lot of energy from the employee, due to independent care for patients and working conditions that cause stress for nurses. When a nurse is unable to cope with workplace stressors, stress-induced complications in the employee's health occur, which can have major consequences for the nursing profession in terms of patient health. Intensive care units are high-stress workplaces, because of which nurses face increased levels of stress. Given how stressful the nursing profession is, it is important to manage stress to reduce it. There are many different methods of stress management that can contribute to or reduce stress. The paper investigated whether or not stress management techniques differed between adult and pediatric intensive care nurses. The obtained data show that there are no statistically significant differences between stress management methods between adult and pediatric intensive care nurses in Latvia, Riga. The aim of the study was to find out what stress management methods are used by intensive care nurses, which was achieved. From this, it can be concluded that the study should be conducted on a larger scale, involving not only intensive care units. The bachelor thesis consists of 32 pages. 32 sources of information were used with 3 appendices, 8 tables and 18 images. |
