Māsu empātijas rādītāji onkoloģijas un internās profila nodaļā

Abstract

Darba pamatā ir empātijas jēdziens veselības aprūpē, koncentrējoties uz māsu lomu onkoloģijas un internā profilu nodaļās. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt un salīdzināt empātijas rādītājus šajās nodaļās, izmantojot gan sociāli demogrāfiskus datus, gan Empātijas koeficienta skalas aptauju. Empātijas jēdziens tiek analizēts no dažādām pusēm un tiek izskatīta empātijas nozīme pacientu aprūpē, kā arī tās saistība ar labvēlīgiem rezultātiem gan pacientiem, gan māsam. Pētījumā piedalījās 63 vispārējas aprūpes māsas no divām Rīgas slimnīcām, tika izmantotas papīrformāta aptaujas. Dati tika apkopoti un analizēti, izmantojot statistiskās metodes, lai pārbaudītu izvirzīto hipotēzi par empātijas rādītāju atšķirībām starp nodaļām. Rezultāti neatklāja būtiskas atšķirības empātijas rādītājos starp māsām onkoloģijas un internā profila nodaļās. Bakalaura darba apjoms: 26 lappuses, 7 tabulas, 34 literatūras avoti, 3 pielikumi.

The work is based on the concept of empathy in healthcare, focusing on the role of nurses in oncology and internal profile units. The aim of the paper is to investigate and compare empathy scores in these units using both socio-demographic data and the Empathy Quotient Scale questionnaire. The concept of empathy is analysed from different sides and the role of empathy in patient care is explored, as well as the relationship of empathy to positive outcomes for patients and care staff. The scope of bachelor thesis: 26 pages, 7 tables and 34 sources of information, 3 appendices. 63 nurses from two hospitals in Riga participated in the study, paper-based questionnaires were used. Data were collected and analysed using statistical methods to test the hypothesis about differences in empathy scores between units. The results revealed no significant differences in empathy scores between nurses in oncology and internal profile units.
