Valsts policijas kompetence mazaizsargāto ceļa satiksmes dalībnieku drošības jomā

Abstract

Mazaizsargātie ceļu satiksmes dalībnieki ir gājēji, velosipēdu un elektroskrejriteņu vadītāji. Pēdējos četros gados samazinājās ceļu satiksmes negadījumos bojā gājušo pasažieru un gājēju skaits, samazinājās pārkāpumu skaits gājēju vidū. Pieauga elektroskrejriteņu vadītāju iesaiste ceļu satiksmes negadījumos. Elektroskrejriteņu vadītāji nav iekļauti Prevencijas stratēģijā. Valsts policijas kompetence elektroskrejriteņu drošībā netiek plānota un organizēta stratēģiski. Lai veicinātu mazaizsargāto ceļu satiksmes dalībnieku drošību un attīstītu Valsts policijas kompetenci jāveic grozījumi Ceļu satiksmes likumā, Prevencijas stratēģijas papildināšana, vienota pieeja informatīvi izglītojošo kampaņu īstenošanā, sabiedrības viedokļa apzināšana. Darba apjoms ir 56 lapas puses.

Vulnerable road users are pedestrians, drivers of bicycles and electric scooters. In the last four years, the number of passengers and pedestrians killed in traffic accidents decreased, and the number of violations among pedestrians decreased. The involvement of electric scooter drivers in road traffic accidents has increased. Electric scooter drivers are not included in the Prevention Strategy. The competence of the State Police Republic of Latvia in electric scooter safety is not planned and organized strategically. To promote the safety of vulnerable road users and develop the competence of the State Police Republic of Latvia, amendments should be made to the Road Traffic Law, the addition of the Prevention Strategy, a unified approach to the implementation of informational and educational campaigns, and the identification of public opinion. The volume of the work is 56 pages.
