Abstract: | Tēžu – literatūras apskata mērķis bija noskaidrot datora lietotāju redzes sindroma mazināšanas un profilakses iespējas.
Ir nepieciešami turpmāki pētījumi, kas varētu uzlabot pašreizējo datora lietotāju redzes sindroma vadlīniju kvalitāti AIM: This dissertation contains an extensive literature review on understanding Com-puter Vision Syndrome (CVS) and how it can be prevented and mitigated. BACKGROUND: CVS is a common chronic condition that affects the quality of life by causing eye discomfort and blurred vision. Some simple lifestyle and habits changes are needed to prevent and alleviate CVS. METHOD: Databases such as Science Direct, PubMed, and Google Scholar were ac-cessed, and articles published between 2014 and 2023 were stored in the Mendeley reference programme to gather information and to address the aim of this thesis “How to prevent and treat CVS”. CONCLUSION: This literature review revealed a need for more current primary litera-ture review for evidence-based counsel on the prevention and treatment of CVS. Only a small selection of appropriate treatments was presented in the articles. Further research is needed in this area of deficiency, which could improve the quality of current guidelines for CVS. |
