Abstract

Pētījuma tēma nosaukums: Monreālās kognitīvo funkciju novērtēšanas skalas vājdzirdīgām un nedzirdīgām personām adaptācija latviešu valodā un psihometrisko īpašību pārbaude. Aktualitāte: Tika izveidota Monreālā kognitīvo funkciju novērtēšanas skala vājdzirdīgām un nedzirdīgām personām, lai atvieglotu novērtēšanas procesu personām ar dzirdes traucējumiem un uzlabotu novērtējuma rezultātu precizitāti. Precīzi novērtēšanas rezultāti uzlabo terapijas plāna izstrādi un rehabilitācijas gaitu personām ar dzirdes traucējumiem. Pētījuma mērķis: Veikt Monreālās kognitīvo funkciju novērtēšanas skalas vājdzirdigām un nedzirdīgām personām tulkojumu latviešu valodā un pārbaudīt instrumenta psihometriskās īpašības. Pētījuma dizains: Kvantitatīvs, neeksperimentāls pētījums. Pētījuma dalībnieki: Pētījumā piedalījās 30 Latvijas Nedzirdīgo savienības biedri, pieaugušās personas, ar kognitīvajiem traucējumiem un vājdzirdību vai pilnu dzirdes zudumu. Pētījuma metodes: Tika veikta Monreālās kognitīvo funkciju novērtēšanas skalas vājdzirdigām un nedzirdīgām personām un instrukciju karšu tulkošana latviešu valodā un instrumenta testēšana, iesaistot Latvijas Nedzirdīgo savienības biedrus, lai pierādītu novērtēšanas instrumenta psihometriskās īpašības – iekšējas saskaņotības rezultātus un testa-atkārtota testa rezultātus. Novērtēšanas instrumenti: Monreālā kognitīvo funkciju novērtēšanas skala vājdzirdīgām un nedzirdīgām personām (Nasreddine et. al., 2005). Rezultāti: Tika izveidota Monreālās kognitīvo funkciju novērtēšanas skalas vājdzirdīgām un nedzirdīgām personām versija latviešu valodā, kā arī tika pārtulkotas instrukciju kartes un rokasgrāmata. Iegūtie rezultāti pēc datu analīzes norāda uz pieņemamo iekšējo saskaņotību (Alfa Kronbaha koeficiens = 0,710) un labu testa-atkārtota testa ticamības līmeni (Starpklašu korelācijas koeficients = 0,892). Secinājumi: Monreālā kognitīvo funkciju novērtēšanas skala vājdzirdīgām un nedzirdīgām personām versija latviešu valodā tika atzīta par ticamu un pielietojamu Latvijā. Title: Adaptation of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment for persons with hearing impairment into Latvian language and testing of psychometric properties. Actuality: The Montreal Cognitive Assessment for Hard of people with hearing impairment was created to facilitate the assessment process for persons with hearing impairments and to improve the accuracy of assessment results. Accurate assessment results improve the development of a therapy plan and the course of rehabilitation for persons with hearing impairment. Aim of the study: To carry out the translation of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment for people with hearing impairment into Latvian language and to check the psychometric properties of the instrument. Design: Quantitative, non-experimental research. Participants: 30 members of the Latvian Association of the Deaf, adults with cognitive disorders and hearing impairment or complete hearing loss participated in the study. Methods: The translation of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment tool for people with hearing impairment and the translation of the instruction cards into Latvian language and the testing of the assessment tool were carried out, involving members of the Latvian Association of the Deaf, in order to prove the psychometric properties of the instrument - the results of internal consistency and test-retest results. Measurments: The Montreal Cognitive Assessment tool for people with hearing impairment (Nasreddine et. al., 2005). Results: The Latvian version of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment scale for people with hearing impairment was created, as well as the instruction cards and manual were translated. The obtained results after data analysis indicate acceptable internal consistency (Cronbach's Alpha coefficient = 0.710) and a good level of test-retest reliability (Interclass correlation coefficient = 0.892). Conclusion: The Latvian version of the Montreal Cognitive for people with hearing impairment is reliable and usable in Latvia.
