Ergoterapeita taktika darbā ar personām ar neirodeģeneratīvām saslimšanām – sistemātisks literatūras pārskats

Abstract

Darba nosaukums: Ergoterapeita taktika darbā ar personām ar neirodeģeneratīvām saslimšanām – sistemātisks literatūras pārskats. Darba mērķis: Apkopot un analizēt pieejamos pētījumus par ergoterapeitu praksē izmantotām taktikām darbā ar personām ar neirodeģeneratīvām saslimšanām, analizēt izmanto taktiku efektivitāti personām ar neirodeģeneratīvām saslimšanām. Pētījuma metodes: Pētījumā izmantotās datubāzes: PubMed, The Cohrane Library, Science Direct, ClinicalKey, Scopus, Sage Journals. Pētījumi tika meklēti izmantojot atslēgas vārdus: neirodegenerative diseases, occupational theraphy interventions/ tactics, occupation performance, quality of life. Pārskatā tika iekļauti eksperimentālā dizaina pētījumi, kuru dalībnieki – pilngadīgas personas ar neirodeģeneratīvu saslimšanu. Pārskatā tika iekļauti pētījumi, kas tika publicēti laika posmā no 2013. gada – 2023. gadam. Rezultāti: Atlasīti 5 randomizēti eksperimentālā dizaina pētījumi, kuros tika iesaistīts ergoterapeits darbā ar pacientiem ar neirodeģeneratīvām saslimšanām. Visos pētījumos tika uzsvērta terapeitisko aktivitāšu/ uzdevumu izmantošana kā viena no taktikām pacienta funkcionēšanas veicināšanai. Visos pētījumos novērojami statistiski nozīmīgi uzlabojumi pēc terapijas procesa īstenošanas. Secinājumi: Pieejams nepietiekams pētījumu skaits par ergoterapeitu pielietoto taktiku efektivitāti ilgtermiņā darbā ar pacientiem ar neirodeģeneratīvām saslimšanām. Ergoterapeita pielietotās taktikas sniedza pozitīvu rezultātu uz pacienta funkcionēšanu ķermeņa struktūru un funkciju un/ vai aktivitāšu un dalības līmenī. Biežāk pielietotās un efektīvākās metodes darbā ar pacientiem ar neirodeģeneratīvām saslimšanām bija rokas funkciju veicinoša terapija un mērķtiecīgu aktivitāšu/ uzdevumu izmantošana.

The title of the Bachelor paper: Tactics of an occupational therapist working with persons with neurodegenerative diseases: systematic literature review Objective: Collect and analyse the evidence available in the literature on the effectiveness of the occupational therapist's tactics with persons with neurodegenerative diseases. Research methods: Data search was performed on six databases - PubMed, The Cohrane Library, Science Direct, ClinicalKey, Scopus, Sage Journals. Studies were serched by the key words: neirodegenerative diseases, occupational theraphy interventions/ tactics, occupation performance, quality of life. The review included experimental design studies with a control group whose respondents were adult subjects with a diagnosed neuroegenertive disease. The review selected studies published from year 2013 to 2023. Results: The literature review included five experimental design studies that met all the inclusion criteria. All studies emphasized the use of therapeutic activities/tasks as one of the tactics to promote patient functioning. All studies show statistically significant improvements after the implementation of the therapy process. Conclusions: There is an insufficient number of studies available on the long-term effectiveness of the tactics used by occupational therapists in working with patients with neurodegenerative diseases. The tactics used by the occupational therapist gave a positive result on the patient's functioning at the level of body structures and functions and/or activities and participation. The most frequently used and effective methods in working with patients with neurodegenerative diseases were hand function promoting therapy and the use of targeted activities/tasks.
