Kenijas mūzikas priekšnesuma trauksmes aptaujas pārskatītās versijas adaptācija latviešu valodā.

Abstract

Šī pētījuma mērķis bija adaptēt Kenijas muzikālās uzstāšanās trauksmes aptaujas pārskatīto versiju latviešu valodā. Muzikālā uzstāšanās trauksme tiek raksturota kā izteikta un pastāvīga trauksmes izjūta, kas ir attiecināma uz indivīda muzikālo izpildījumu (Kenny, 2011). Balstoties uz Barlova teoriju, to ietekmē trīs galvenie faktori jeb ievainojamības: vispārējā bioloģiskā, vispārējā psiholoģiskā un specifiska psiholoģiskā ievainojamība (Barlow, 2000). Lai sasniegtu pētījuma mērķi, tika izvirzīti seši pētnieciskie uzdevumi un jautājumi ar mērķi noskaidrot aptaujas un tās apakšskalu pilota un gala versijas psihometriskos, kā arī iekšējās saskaņotības rādītājus, veikt faktoru analīzi un noteikt, vai pastāv dzimumu atšķirības muzikālās uzstāšanās trauksmes rādītājos. Pilotpētījumā piedalījās 30 mūziķi (66,7% sievietes), vecumā no 18 līdz 34 gadiem (M = 23,03; SD = 3,27), turpretī gala pētījumā, pēc iekļaušanas un izslēgšanas kritēriju izvērtēšanas, kuri noteica, ka dalībniekiem ir jābūt vismaz 18 gadus veciem laviešu valodā runājošiem mūziķiem, tika apstrādāti 568 dalībnieku dati (80,1% sievietes), kas bija vecumā no 18 līdz 68 gadiem (M = 29,5; SD = 10,91). Dalībnieki elektroniskajā lietotnē Google Forms sniedza savus demogrāfiskos datus un aizpildīja Kenijas muzikālās uzstāšanās trauksmes aptaujas pārskatīto versiju (Kenny music performance anxiety invetory-revised; Kenny, 2009), ko veido 40 apgalvojumi, kas jānovērtē septiņu punktu Likerta skalā no 0 līdz 6. Aptaujas pilota versijas psihometriskie rādītāji daļēji atbilst to pieņemtajām normām – reakcijas indeksi ir to optimālajās robežās, variējot no 1,2 līdz 4,4, taču daži panti gan kopējā aptaujā, gan apakšskalu ietvaros uzrāda pazeminātus vai paaugstinātus diskriminācijas indeksus. Pilota versijā divas no apakšskalām uzrāda pazeminātus iekšējās saskaņotības rādītājus, bet kopējās aptaujas koeficients ir ļoti augsts (α = 0,95). Gala versijas psihometriskie rādītāji kopumā atbilst vispārpieņemtajām normām – reakcijas indeksi ietilpst optimālajās robežās, variējot no 1,45 līdz 4,45, un, lai arī apakšskalu ietvaros visi panti ir diskriminācijas indeksu pieņemtajās normās no 0,2 līdz 0,8, kopējā aptaujā četri panti uzrāda pazeminātus rādītājus. Gala versijas kopējās aptaujas iekšējās saskaņotības rādītājs ir ļoti augsts (α = 0,92), bet divām apakšskalām – pazemināts. Veicot izpētošo faktoru analīzi, tika izgūti deviņi faktori, kas nesaskan ar oriģinālo versiju. Fiksējot faktorus līdz oriģinālajam astoņu faktoru skaitam, šis faktoru modelis uzrādīja nedaudz labāku pantu izkārtojumu, salīdzinot ar oriģinālo versiju. Sievietes uzrādīja augstākus muzikālās uzstāšanās trauksmes rādītājus, kas saskan ar citiem pētījumiem.

The aim of this study was to adapt the revised version of the Kenny Music Performance Anxiety Inventory into Latvian. Music performance anxiety is described as a marked and persistent feeling of anxiety that is related to an individual's musical performance (Kenny, 2011). Based on Barlow's theory, it is affected by three main factors or vulnerabilities: general biological, general psychological, and specific psychological vulnerability (Barlow, 2000). To achieve the aim of the study, six research tasks and questions were set with the aim to investigate the psychometric properties and internal consistency of the pilot and final version of the inventory and its subscales, to conduct a factor analysis, and to determine whether there are gender differences in music performance anxiety scores. 30 musicians (66.7% female), aged 18 – 34 years (M = 23.03; SD = 3.27), participated in the pilot study, whereas in the final study, after considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria, which determined that participants had to be at least 18 years of age and be native speakers of the Latvian language, data was processed from 568 participants (80.1% female), aged 18 – 68 years (M = 29.5; SD = 10.91). Participants provided their demographic data on an electronic application Google Forms and completed a revised version of the Kenny Music Performance Anxiety Inventory (Kenny, 2009), which consists of 40 items that must be rated on a seven point Likert scale from 0 to 6. The psychometric properties of the pilot study are partly within their accepted norms: the response indices are within their optimal limits, varying from 1.2 to 4.4, but some items, in the overall inventory and within the subscales, show decreased or increased discrimination indices. In the pilot study, two of the subscales show lower internal consistency indices than acceptable, but Cronbach's alpha for the overall inventory is high (α = .95). Overall, the psychometric properties in the final version are in line with suggested norms: the response indices are within the optimal limits, varying from 1.45 to 4.45, and although all item discrimination indices are within the accepted range of .2 to .8 within the subscales, four items in the overall inventory show lowered scores. The internal consistency of the final version of this inventory is very high (α = .92), except for two subscales. The exploratory factor analysis retrieved nine factors that are inconsistent with the original version. When limiting the factors to the original number of eight, this factor model showed a slightly better arrangement of items compared to the original version. Females showed higher music performance anxiety than men, which is in line with previous findings.
