Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma: Cianotipijas fotogrāfiju sērijas izveide dzejoļu krājuma vizuālajam noformējumam. Radošais darbs. Aktualitāte: Analogā fotogrāfija mūsu digitālajā laikmetā kļūst arvien aktuālāka, jo aizvien vairāk fotogrāfu noliek viedtālruņus vai digitālās spoguļkameras un dod priekšroku fotografēšanai vecmodīgā veidā. Tāpat kā vinila platēm, foto filmiņai vai citiem analogo fotogrāfiju veidiem piemīt noturīga, autentiska pievilcība, un tā atgriežas gan profesionāļu, gan amatieru vidū. Tāpat arī Latvijā un pasaulē cenšas atkal panākt dzejas žanra prestižu. Dzejas grāmata nav tikai teksts, kurš tiešā veidā pārnests uz papīra un sastiprināts kopā, bet grāmatu lasītājs zināmā mērā uztver to arī kā dzejnieka portretu. Radošā darba mērķis: izveidot cianotipijas fotogrāfiju dzejoļu krājuma vizuālajam noformējumam, sadarbojoties ar dzejnieci Alisi Mētru, kura plāno izdot savu pirmo debijas krājumu. Radošais darbs sastāv no teorētiskās daļas, radošās koncepcijas un tehniskās izstrādes informācijas, kā arī tajā ir secinājumi un pielikums ar izstrādātajiem radošajiem darbiem. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatīta literatūra par fotogrāfiju kā mākslas un saziņas veidu, fotogrāfijas žanriem un stiliem, īpaši koncentrējoties uz eksperimentālo fotogrāfiju, pie kuras pieskaitāma arī cianotipijas tehnika. Kā cianotipijas fotogrāfiju piemēri aplūkoti Annas Atkinsas, Līzas Nībenzāles, Sūzenas Dergesas un Adama Fusa darbu piemēri. Attēla un teksta mijiedarbības kontekstā aplūkoti tādi autori kā Sūzena Sontāga, Rolāns Barts un Bū Bergstrems. Radošā darba izstrādes daļā tiek aprakstīta radošā darba koncepcija, ideja dzejoļu krājuma vizuālajam noformējumam, kā arī sadarbība ar dzejas autori un darba tehniskā realizācija. Darba noslēgumā ir norādīti radušies secinājumi – gan attiecībā uz sadarbības daļu ar dzejnieci, gan attiecībā uz cianotipijas attēlu tehnisko izstrādi. Pielikumā ir pievienoti 11 cianotipijas attēli, kas izveidoti šī darba procesā.

The topic of the bachelor thesis: Creation of a series of cyanotype photographs for the visual design of a collection of poems. Creative work. Like vinyl records, film or other forms of analogue photography have a lasting, authentic appeal and are making a comeback among professionals and amateurs alike. As well we feel tendencies to regain the prestige of the poetry genre in Latvia and worldwide. A poetry book is not just a text directly transferred onto paper and stitched together, but the reader also perceives the book to some extent as a portrait of the poet. The aim of the creative work: to create a cyanotype photograph for the visual design of a collection of poems, in collaboration with the poet Alise Mētra, who is planning to publish her first debut collection. The creative work consists of a theoretical part, a creative concept and technical development information, as well as conclusions and an appendix with the developed creative works. The theoretical part reviews the literature on photography as an art and a form of communication, photographic genres and styles, with a particular focus on experimental photography, which includes the cyanotype technique. Examples of cyanotype photography include the work of Anne Atkins, Lisa Niebenzal, Susan Derges and Adam Fuss. In the context of the interaction between image and text, authors such as Susan Sontag, Roland Barthes and Beau Bergström are discussed. The development part of the creative work describes the concept of the creative work, the idea for the visual design of the collection of poems, as well as the collaboration with the author of the poem and the technical realisation of the work. The work concludes with the conclusions that have emerged, both with regard to the collaboration with the poet and the technical development of the cyanotype images. The 11 cyanotype images produced in the process of this work are attached.
