Projekts autorfotogrāfijā: dzīves romantizēšanas tendence.

Abstract

Radošais bakalaura darbs “Projekts autorfotogrāfijā: dzīves romantizēšanas tendence” parāda sociālo mediju video platformā TikTok aizsāktās tendences jeb trenda integrāciju cilvēku ikdienas dzīvē. Dzīves romantizēšana jeb “Romanticize your life” tendence, kuru 2020. gadā aizsāka TikTok satura veidotāja un influencere Ešlija Vorda (Ashley Ward), paredz to, ka cilvēki romantizē jeb skaistina savu ikdienas dzīvi, pievienojot tajā apzinātību un citas prakses, kuras sekmē dzīves novērtēšanu. Sakarā ar COVID-19 izraisīto pandēmiju ir krasi pasliktinājies cilvēku mentālās veselības stāvoklis un lielai daļai cilvēku ir grūti saskatīt pozitīvo un priecāties par savu dzīvi. Tomēr, ir arī cilvēki, kuri pandēmijas laikā, tieši otrādi, meklēja un centās pievērsties pozitīvām praksēm un dzīvesveidam. Lai popularizētu dzīves romantizēšanas prakses, bakalaura darba ietvaros tiek veidots fotogrāfijas projekts. Darba mērķis ir veicināt pievēršanos šīm dzīves romantizēšanas praksēm, lai cilvēki sāktu vairāk novērtēt savu dzīvi, mazās un šķietami ikdienišķās lietas, kā arī tās piepildīt ar apzinātību. Bakalaura darbu veido piecas pamatnodaļas un divpadsmit apakšnodaļas. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek apskatīta un raksturota dzīves romantizēšanas tendence un tās prakses. Otrajā, trešajā un ceturtajā nodaļā tiek apskatītas teorētiskās atziņas par autorfotogrāfiju, vēstījumu fotogrāfijā un sapņainības estētiku fotogrāfijā, kuru apskate palīdz ar efektīvāku radošā darba izveidi. Un piektajā nodaļā jeb radošajā daļā tiek aprakstīta autorfotogrāfijas projekta idejas attīstība, paša projekta realizācija un labās prakses piemēri. Autorfotogrāfijas projekts sastāv no 16 fotogrāfijām, kuras atklāj dzīves romantizēšanas prakses no darba autores skatījuma un pieredzes. Fotogrāfiju tiek pielietota sapņainības estētika, jo tā mijiedarbojas ar darba tēmu, kura ir dziļi saistīta ar sajūtām un cilvēka iekšējo pasauli.

The creative bachelor's thesis "Project in author photography: trend of romanticizing life" shows the integration of the initiated trend, that took off on TikTok, into human daily life. "Romanticize your life" trend, which was started in 2020 by a TikTok content creator and influencer Ashley Ward, involves people romanticizing or beautifying their everyday life, adding mindfulness and other practices that promote life appreciation. Due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19, people’s mental health has drastically worsened and a large number of people find it difficult to see the positive and be happy about their life. However, there are also people who, on the contrary, sought and tried focus on more positive practices and lifestyle. To popularize practice of romanticizing life, an photography project is created within the bachelor work. The aim of the work is to promote the practice of romanticizing life, so that people start appreciating their life more, the small and seemingly mundane things, as well to fill them with mindfulness. The bachelor thesis consists of five chapters and twelve subdivisions. The first chapter examines and describes the trend of romanticizing life and it’s practices. The second, third, and fourth chapters reflect theoretical insights on author photography, message in photography and dreamy aesthetic in photography, that helps with more effective creation of the creative work. And the fifth chapter or the creative part, describes the development of the idea of the project in author photography, the realization of the project itself and examples of good practice. The project in author photography consists of 16 photographs that reveal the practices of romanticizing life from the authors point of view and experience. In the creation of the photographs, dreamy aesthetic is being used, because it interacts with the topic of the work, which is deeply connected with feelings and the person’s inner world.
