Maģistra darba „Geštaltterapeitu vajadzības un tēmas supervīzijā” mērķis - noskaidrot Latvijas geštaltterapeitu vajadzības un (aktualizētās) tēmas supervīzijā un izzināt, vai pastāv atšķirības starp to kā geštaltterapeitu vajadzības raksturo geštaltterapeiti un geštaltterapijas supervizori. Pētījumā izvirzīti jautājumi: Kādas ir Latvijas geštaltterapeitu galvenās vajadzības supervīzijā? Kādas ir Latvijas geštaltterapeitu (aktualizētās) tēmas supervīzijā? Kādas ir Latvijas geštaltterapijas supervizoru galvenās supervizētās tēmas? Kādas ir Latvijas geštaltterapijas supervizoru supervizējamo geštaltterapeitu vajadzības supervīzijā? Kā geštaltterapeitu aktualizētās tēmas un vajadzības supervīzijā raksturo supervizējamie geštaltterapeiti un geštaltterapijas supervizori, vai tās atšķiras? Pētījumā izmantota kvalitatīvā pētījuma stratēģija. Pētījums veikts divos posmos – sagatavošanās posmā un pētījuma posmā. Sagatavošanās posmā piedalījās pieci pētījuma posmā neiesaistīti geštaltterapeiti, izveidota pilotintervija fokusgrupas tehniskam izmēģinājumam un jautājumu atbilstības noskaidrošanai, iegūtajiem datiem veikta dalībnieku komentētā satura analīze korekciju veikšanai intervijas un tehniskajos jautājumos. Pētījuma posmā piedalījās seši Latvijas Psihoterapeitu biedrībā sertificēti geštaltterapeiti un pieci geštaltterapijas supervizori, kuri vienlaikus ir arī Latvijas Psihoterapeitu biedrībā sertificēti geštaltterapeiti. Pētījuma posmā izveidotas divas fokusgrupas. Vienā fokusgrupā geštaltterapeiti, otrā fokusgrupā geštaltterapijas supervizori, pie kuriem supervizējas tieši šie konkrētie geštaltterapeiti. Veikta iegūto datu tematiskā analīze, izdalītas geštaltterapeitu un geštaltterapijas supervizoru supervizējamo geštaltterapeitu supervīzijas vajadzības un tēmas. Geštaltterapeitu fokusgrupas datu analīzes rezultātā izdalītas piecas geštaltterapeitu vajadzības raksturojošas virstēmas: psiholoģisks, emocionāls atbalsts, kvalitātes vadība, izglītība un attīstība, būšana kopienā – profesionālās identitātes veidošanās, attiecības ar supervizoru un 22 (aktualizētās) tēmas. Geštaltterapijas supervizoru fokusgrupas datu analīzes rezultātā izdalītas četras supervizējamo geštaltterapeitu vajadzības raksturojošas virstēmas: psiholoģisks, emocionāls atbalsts, kvalitātes vadība, izglītība un attīstība, attiecības ar supervizoru un 22 tēmas. Maģistra darbā noskaidrotas geštaltterapeitu (aktualizētās) tēmas un vajadzības supervīzijā. Pastāv atšķirības starp to kā geštaltterapeitu (aktualizētās) tēmas un vajadzības supervīzijā raksturo geštaltterapeiti un geštaltterapijas supervizori. Abstract

The aim of the Master's thesis "The needs of Gestalt therapists and thematic issues for the process of supervision" is to find out the needs of Latvian Gestalt therapists and (relevant) topics in supervision and whether there are differences between the way Gestalt therapists and Gestalt therapy supervisors describe the needs of Gestalt therapists. The research questions are: What are the main needs of Latvian Gestalt therapists in supervision? What are the (relevant) topics of Latvian Gestalt therapists in supervision? What are the main topics supervised by Latvian Gestalt therapy supervisors? What are the needs of Latvian Gestalt therapists in supervision? How do supervisees and supervisors of Gestalt therapy describe the themes and needs of Gestalt therapists in supervision, do they differ? The study uses qualitative research strategy. The research was conducted in two phases: a preparatory phase and a research phase. Five Gestalt therapists not involved in the research phase participated in the preparatory phase, a pilot interview was set up for technical testing of the focus group and to clarify the relevance of the questions, and the data was subjected to a content analysis of the participants' comments for adjustments to the interview and technical questions. Six Gestalt therapists certified by the Latvian Psychotherapy Association and five Gestalt therapy supervisors, who are also Gestalt therapists certified by the Latvian Psychotherapy Association, participated in the research phase. Two focus groups were set up during the research phase. One focus group consists of Gestalt therapists, the other focus group consists of Gestalt therapy supervisors with whom these particular Gestalt therapists are supervised. Thematic analysis of the data was carried out, needs and themes of supervision of Gestalt therapists and Gestalt therapy supervisors were identified. The analysis of the Gestalt therapists' focus group data resulted in 5 themes describing the needs of Gestalt therapists: psychological, emotional support, quality management, education and development, being in the community - professional identity formation, relationship with the supervisor and 22 (relevant) themes. The analysis of the focus group data of the Gestalt therapy supervisors resulted in the identification of 4 major themes describing the needs of the supervised Gestalt therapists: psychological, emotional support, quality management, education and development, relationship with the supervisor and 22 themes. The master thesis identifies the (relevant) themes and needs of Gestalt therapists in supervision. There are differences between how Gestalt therapists and Gestalt therapy supervisors describe the (relevant) themes and needs of Gestalt therapists in supervision.
