Mediācija kā sociālā darba metode ģimenes konfliktu risināšanā.

Abstract

Anotācija Maģistra darba tēma “Mediācija kā sociālā darba metode ģimenes konfliktu risināšanā” izvēlēta sakarā ar to, ka aizvien biežāk tiek runāts par mediāciju kā sociālā darba metodi, tomēr profesionālajā literatūrā un pētījumos šim jautājumam veltīts salīdzinoši maz uzmanības. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt mediācijas kā sociālā darba metodes izpratni, praktisko pielietojumu un ierobežojumus ģimenes konfliktu risināšanā sociālajā darbā ar ģimenēm un bērniem. Maģistra darba teorētiskās izpētes posmā autore aplūko mediāciju kā mūsdienās aktuālu konfliktu risināšanas metodi darbā ģimenēm ar bērniem, tās izpratni un formulējumus teorētiskajā, zinātniskajā literatūrā, normatīvajos aktos un dokumentos, kā arī mediatora kompetenci un citu valstu pieredzi. Darba pētnieciskajā daļā, apkopojot citu valstu pieredzi, autore izveidojusi aptaujas anketu. Ar mērķi, noskaidrot biežāk lietotās prasmes un attieksmes, kuras sociālā darba speciālisti darbā ar ģimenēm un bērniem izmanto konflikta situāciju risināšanā, tika aptaujāti 70 sociālie darbinieki darbā ar ģimenēm un bērniem. Lai padziļināti pētītu mediācijas kā sociālā darba metodes izpratni, tās principu un soļu praktisko pielietojumu un ierobežojumus, izmantojot mediāciju kā sociālā darba metodi vai mediācijas elementus darbā ar ģimenēm un bērniem, tika veiktas sešas daļēji strukturētas intervijas ar sociālo dienestu darbiniekiem ģimenēm ar bērniem, kuri ieguvuši maģistra grādu un studiju laikā vai kursos apguvuši mediāciju. Apkopojot maģistra darba teorētiskajā un empīriskajā daļā iegūtās atziņas, autore secinājusi, ka mediācijas prasmju un attieksmju pielietojums ir daļa no sociālā darba ikdienas darba prakses, risinot konflikta situācijas. Tomēr sociālajiem darbiniekiem ir grūti atrast veidu kā palīdzēt ģimenēm gadījumos ar sakāpinātu emocionālo spriedzi un augstu konflikta līmeni. Autore ierosina turpināt pētījumus un profesionāļu diskusijas par mediācijas kā sociālā darba metodes pielietojumu un integrēšanu sociālajā darbā, kā arī izglītības un tālākizglītības pilnveidošanu sociālā darbinieka kompetences paaugstināšanai, lai atbalstītu un veicinātu efektīvāku praksi, un sociālie darbinieki sniegtu profilaktisku un savlaicīgu palīdzību konfliktējošām ģimenēm.

Abstract The subject of the master's thesis "Mediation as a social work method in family conflicts resolution” has been chosen due to the fact that mediation as a social work method is more and more often discussed, however, relatively little attention has been paid to this theme in the professional literature and research so far. The aim of the research is to study the understanding of mediation as a method of social work, its practical application and limitations in resolving family conflicts in social work with families and children. In the theoretical research phase of the master's thesis, the author considers mediation as a current method of conflict resolution in work with families with children, its understanding in theoretical, scientific literature, regulatory enactments and documents, as well as mediator's competence and experience in other countries. In the research part of the work, summarizing the experience of other countries, the author has created a questionnaire. In order to find out the most frequently used skills and attitudes used by social work specialists in working with families and children to resolve conflict situations, 70 social workers working with families and children were interviewed. In order to explore deeper the understanding of mediation as a method of social work, the practical application and limitations of its principles and steps, using mediation as a method of social work or elements of mediation in work with families and children, six semi-structured interviews were conducted with social workers who had obtained a master's degree and had acquired mediation during their studies or courses. Summarizing the findings obtained in the theoretical and empirical part of the master's thesis, the author has concluded that the application of mediation skills and attitudes is part of the daily work practice of social work in resolving conflict situations. However, it is difficult for social workers to find a way to help families in cases of heightened emotional tension and high levels of conflict. The author suggests further research and professional discussions on the application and integration of mediation as a social work method in social work and the development of education and training to increase the competence of social workers to support and promote more effective practice and provide preventive and timely assistance to conflicting families.
