Atšķirības ASV, Vācijas, Francijas un Polijas uztverē par Ķīnas radīto apdraudējumu laikā no 2016. gada līdz 2021. gadam

Abstract

Ķīnas straujās ekonomiskās un militārās izaugsmes un jauno ģeopolitisko ambīciju rezultātā, ASV stratēģiskais fokuss ir pārvirzījies uz Indijas un Klusā okeāna reģionu, radot piemērotus apstākļu stratēģiskajai konkurencei starp abām lielvarām. Tomēr ASV sabiedroto valstu Eiropā viedokļi par Ķīnas radīto apdraudējumu dalās. Maģistra darba ietvaros, izmantojot neoreālisma teorijas konceptus, tiks veikta ASV, Francijas, Vācijas un Polijas ārpolitikas un drošības politikas dokumentu analīze, norādot uz kopīgo un atšķirīgo šo valstu Ķīnas radītā apdraudējuma uztverē. Secinājumos tiks sniegts ieskats potenciālajās sekās, kuru apdraudējuma uztveres atšķirības var radīt uz pastāvošajām aliansēm starp ASV, Franciju, Vāciju un Poliju.

As a result of China's rapid economic and military growth and renewed geopolitical ambitions, the US strategic focus has shifted to the Indo-Pacific region, creating the right conditions for strategic competition between the two superpowers. However, the United States’ Allies in Europe are divided over the potential threat posed by China. Within the framework of the Master's thesis, using the concepts of neorealism theory of International Relations, an analysis of the foreign and security policy documents of the US, France, Germany and Poland will be carried out, pointing to the common and different considerations in the perception of threat posed by China. The conclusion will provide an insight into the potential consequences stemming from the differences in threat perception coming from China to the existing alliances between the United States, France, Germany and Poland.
