Abstract: | Pētījuma nosaukums: Pirmsdzemdību aprūpes pieejamība un kvalitāte COVID-19 pandēmijas laikā.
Title of the research: Access and Quality of antenatal care (ANC) during COVID-19 pandemic. Aim of the research: This literature review aims to determine whether access to and quality of antenatal care have suffered from Coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) restriction measures. Research methods: 77 sources were used. After first reading literature reviews on similar topics, more detailed information was found using cross-referencing. For further research, specific studies were searched for additional information for each chapter. Results: It becomes apparent that face-to-face visits reduced in number while remote consultations are rising, especially in high income settings. A tendency towards on-site visits combined with remote consultations and check-ups has been seen. Conclusion: These findings suggest a transformation in the execution of antenatal care from only face-to-face contacts between the patient and the caregiver to a more digitalized and modern hybrid version of antenatal care. |
