Abstract: Sākoties Covid-19 pandēmijai visa izglītības sistēma ierobežojumu dēļ uzsāka attālināto mācību procesu, kas veicinājis pusaudžu mazkustīgu dzīvesveidu kā rezultātā palielinājies arī laiks, ko bērni pavada pie viedierīcēm (TV, dators), kas noved pie fizisko aktivitāšu samazināšanās. Pirms COVID-19 uzliesmojuma aptuveni 80% bērnu un jauniešu, vecumā no 11 līdz 17 gadiem, nebija sasnieguši Pasaules Veselības organizācijas fiziskās aktivitātes ieteikumus.
At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the entire education system changed to a remote learning process that has contributed to teens' low-moving lifestyles, also increased screen time (TV, computer), leading to a reduction in physical activity. Before THE COVID-19 outbreak, about 80% of children and young people aged 11 to 17 hadn't reached the World Health Organization's physical activity recommendations. Studies published during the pandemic indicate that children and young people have now become even less physically active. Studies published during the pandemic show that children and young people are now even less physically active. COVID-19 restrictions continue to limit access to physical activity, which has increased adolescents' anxiety levels, experiencing depressive symptoms, increased time spent with children in smart devices and a sedentary lifestyle, reduced time spent away from home by children, and has been shown to increase sleep time has increased. This determined the topicality of the topic, and the author wants to find out the opinion of sports teachers about the problems and opportunities of physical activity during Covid-19. Aim of the research: To find out the opinion of sports teachers about the problems and opportunities of physical activity during Covid-19. Research Question: What are the physical activity options for adolescents during the Covid-19 pandemic? What effect do the restrictions have on adolescents? Research methods: analysis of scientific literature, structured interview. The main results of the research: In the distance learning process, it is much more difficult to keep the interest of teenagers and motivate them to achieve the goal set in the sports lesson. Changes in adolescents such as loss of concentration, weight gain and increased stress have been reported in adolescents during treatment with Covid-19. Only a small proportion of teachers say that students have no problems. During the Covid-19 pandemic, adolescents' attitudes and behaviors to engage in physical activity have changed due to increased sedentary lifestyles, decreased interest in participating in distance sports, lack of direct contact with peers and teachers.
