Pētījuma mērķis: Pārskatīt jaunākajā literatūrā publicētos zinātniskos pierādījumus par patoloģiju "laterals epikondilīts", kā arī pieejas tā ārstēšanai. Aprakstīt attiecīgās locītavas anatomiju, procesa patoģenēzi, epidemioloģiju, klīniskās izpausmes un patoloģijas diagnostikas metodes. Apskatīt sliktas prognozes riska faktorus un prognozētājus un uzrādiet dažādās esošās terapijas metodes un to ietekmi.

Materiāli un metodes: Bibliogrāfiskais pētījums tika veikts ar datu bāzu palīdzību, piemēram, UpToDate, BMJ, PubMed, E-medicine. Secinājums: Lai gan sākotnējā un vienkārša ārstēšana vairumā gadījumu var būt efektīva, vienu un to pašu atbildes reakciju nevar izmantot dažādās un progresīvākās laterālā epikondilīta stadijās. Tas prasa individuālu ārstēšanu, koncentrējoties uz to, kas pacientam nepieciešams, un vissvarīgāk, kuras metodes un ārstēšanas metodes darbojas un ir efektīvākas.

Aim of research: To conduct a review of the scientific evidence reported in the most recent literature on the pathology “lateral epicondylitis”, as well as the approach to its treatment. To describe the anatomy of the joint in question, pathogenesis, epidemiology, clinical manifestations, and diagnostic methods of the pathology. Refer the risk factors and predictors of poor prognosis and present the various existing therapeutic modalities and their effects.

Materials and methods: The bibliographical research was carried out with the aid of databases, such as, UpToDate, BMJ best practice, PubMed , E-medicine.

Conclusion: Although an initial and simple treatment can be effective in most of the cases the same response cannot be use in different and more advance stages of the Lateral epicondylitis. It requires an individualized treatment focus on the what the patient needs, and most important which techniques and treatment modalities work and are more effective.
