Profesionālās rehabilitācijas pakalpojuma saņemšanas pieredze cilvēkiem ar cerebrālo trieku: interpretatīvā fenomenoloģiskā analīze.

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis ir izzināt un aprakstīt cilvēku ar cerebrālo trieku (turpmāk – CT) subjektīvo pieredzi, kas saistīta ar profesionālās rehabilitācijas saņemšanu. Lai pētītu un gūtu izpratni par cilvēku ar CT pieredzi profesionālajā rehabilitācijā, ir izvēlēta kvalitatīvā pētījuma stratēģija ar fenomenoloģiju kā pētījuma dizainu. Fenomenoloģiskā pētījuma dizaina būtība: tiek aprakstīta cilvēku dzīves pieredze attiecībā uz kādu fenomenu, šajā pētījuma tā ir profesionālā rehabilitācija. Profesionālās rehabilitācijas aktualitāti Latvijā pamato izvirzītie pētījuma jautājumi: kā cilvēki ar CT pieredz Sociālās integrācijas valsts aģentūras (turpmāk – SIVA) īstenoto profesionālās rehabilitācijas pakalpojumu un kā pilnveidot SIVA sniegto pakalpojumu. Seši dalībnieki no 21 līdz 47 gadu vecumam, kas atbilst pētījuma dalībnieku atlases iekļaušanas kritērijiem, tika intervēti, kā datu ieguves metode tika izmantota daļēji strukturēta intervija. Interpretatīvā fenomenoloģiskā analīze tika izmantota kā induktīva pieeja kvalitatīvo datu analīzei, lai izzinātu kā cilvēki ar CT pieredz profesionālo rehabilitāciju un kādu jēgu piešķir pieredzei. Pēc datu analīzes tika noteiktas piecas tēmas: 1. Iekļaujošā vide, kurā var justies pieņemts; 2. Profesionālā rehabilitācija kā gaidīta un jēgpilna laika pavadīšana; 3. Emocionālā atbalsta nozīme profesionālās rehabilitācijas laikā; 4. Iespēja pilnveidot zināšanas neatkarīgi no veselības stāvokļa radītajām grūtībām un ierobežojumiem; 5. Darba meklējumi kā izaicinājums. Tā kā profesionālās rehabilitācijas joma Latvijā līdz šim nav pētīta, ieteicams aktualizēt šo jomu pētniecībā, ņemot vērā, ka tās aktualitāte palielinās un Eiropā tā ir svarīga un daudzpusīgi pētīta joma. Pētījuma iegūtie rezultāti sniedz būtisku ieskatu par cilvēku ar CT pieredzi, kas ir saistīta ar profesionālo rehabilitāciju, tas ļāva gan izzināt pakalpojuma saņēmēju vajadzības, gan palīdzēja formulēt turpmākās profesionālās rehabilitācijas attīstības iespējas. Attiecīgi praktiskais pielietojums būtu jānodrošina sniedzot uz personu centrētu pakalpojumu, kas balstās uz cilvēka vajadzībām, jāatzīst, ka cilvēks ir savas dzīves eksperts, līdz ar to aktīvs savas rehabilitācijas dalībnieks. Tādējādi būtu jāapskata gan indivīda personīgās vajadzības, mērķi un vēlmes, gan vēl plašāk – kādi būtu valstiski svarīgi uzdevumi, lai veicinātu cilvēku ar invaliditāti, tostarp cilvēku ar CT nodarbinātību.

This qualitative study aimed to explore and describe lived experience of receiving vocational rehabilitation among people with cerebral palsy (CP). In order to study and gain an understanding of people with CP in vocational rehabilitation, a qualitative research strategy with phenomenology as the research design was used. The nature of the phenomenological design is to describe human lived experience in relation to a phenomenon which is vocational rehabilitation in this study. The research questions refer to the relevance of the topic in Latvia. The first question is how people with CP experience the vocational rehabilitation service implemented by the Social Integration State Agency (SIVA) and the second question is how to improve the service provided by SIVA. Six participants aged 21 to 47, who met the inclusion criteria, were interviewed using a semi-structured interview as a data collection method. Research was conducted using interpretative phenomenological analysis – a qualitative research method which aims to explore both how people with CP experience vocational rehabilitation and how make sense of it. Five themes were derived from data analysis: 1. An inclusive environment in which you can feel yourself accepted; 2. Vocational rehabilitation as an expected and meaningful time spent; 3. The meaning of emotional support during vocational rehabilitation; 4. Opportunity to improve knowledge regardless of the difficulties and limitations caused by the health condition; 5. A job search as a challenge. As the field of vocational rehabilitation has not been studied in Latvia, it is recommended to update this field in research. Besides the field of vocational rehabilitation becomes more and more popular and it is multi-faceted field that is studied in Europe. The results of this study provide an important insight into the experience of people with CP associated with professional rehabilitation, this allows to explore both the needs of the recipients of the service and help to formulate further opportunities for the development of vocational rehabilitation. Accordingly, practical application should be ensured by providing a person-centred service based on human needs, recognizing that a person is an expert in his or her life, thus is an active participant in rehabilitation. This should address both the individual’s personal needs, goals and desires and, more broadly – what are nationally important tasks to improve the employment of people with disabilities including people with CP.
