Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir “Jūras kuģu aresta starptautiski tiesiskais regulējums”. Pētījuma mērķis izpētīt jūras kuģu aresta starptautisko tiesisko regulējumu. Problēmjautājumi, kas autore pētīs maģistra darbā ir saistītas ar sarežģītu juridisku jautājumu dažādību, kas rodas jūras kuģa aresta laikā, ka arī tiesībaizsardzības prakses problēmām un galveno normatīvo aktu juridisko analīzi, kas regulē jūras kuģu arestu Latvijā un ārvalstu tiesību sistēmā. Maģistra darba pētījuma priekšmets ir tiesiskais regulējums. Maģistra darba nobeiguma daļā tiek izvirzīti secinājumi un priekšlikumi. Pētījumi kuģu arestu jomā ir pelnījuši īpašu uzmanību un tiem piemīt īpaša aktualitāte, jo nepieciešami grozījumi Latvijas Jūras kodeksā, lai izveidotu efektīvu un ātru jūras kuģu aresta procedūru. The theme of the Master's Thesis is “Legal international regulation of the seagoing vessels arrest”. The goal of the paper is to explore the international legal regulation of the seagoing vessels arrest. The problematic issues studied by the author in the Master's Thesis are related to the variety of complex legal issues that arise during the arrest of a seagoing vessel, as well as problems of law enforcement practice and legal analysis of the main regulatory enactments governing the arrest of seagoing vessels in Latvia and foreign law. The subject of the Master's Thesis research is legal regulation. Conclusions and proposals are raised in the final part of the master's thesis. Research in the field of vessel arrests deserves special attention and is of relevance due to necessary amendments to the Latvian Maritime Code to establish an efficient and rapid procedure for the arrest of seagoing vessels.
