Izdegšanas sindroms medicīnas darbiniekiem (okulāristiem)

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma – “Emocionālās izdegšanas sindroms medicīnas darbiniekiem (okulāristiem) Latvijā un ārvalstīs”. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt un noskaidrot, vai praktizējošiem okulāristiem (acu protēzistiem) ir izdegšanas sindroms, salīdzināt dažādu valstu speciālistu profesionālās izdegšanas izteiktību un iemeslus. Saskaņā ar pētījuma tēmu tika izvirzīti pētījuma jautājumi – Vai pastāv atšķirības starp dažādu pasaules valstu okulāristu (acu protēzistu) izdegšanas sindroma pakāpi Latvijā un ārvalstīs. Lai sasniegtu pētījuma mērķi tika izmantota jaukta pētījuma stratēģija, kas ietver kvalitatīvās un kvantitatīvās pētījuma dizaina metožu izmantošanu. Pētniecības instrumentu – Oldenburg Burnout Inventory aptaujas anketa, pacientu apmierinātības anketa un jomas ekspertu intervija. Pētījuma rezultāti apstiprināja izvirzītā jautājuma aktualitāti, atklājot, ka Eiropas un pārējās pasaules griezumā, statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības ir visām 3 skalām (neiesaistīšanās, izsīkums un kopējā izdegšana). Eiropas okulāristu izdegšanas rādītāji ir augstāki nekā pārējās pasaules okulāristu izdegšnas rādītāji.

The theme of the Master’s Thesis is “Emotional burnout syndrome among healthcare professionals (ocularists) in Latvia and abroad”. The aim of study is to investigate and determine whether practicing ocularists have burnout syndrome, comparing the severity and reasons of professional burnout of specialists from different countries. In accordance with the research topic, the research questions were raised – are there permanent differences between the degree of burnout syndrome of ocularists in Latvia and abroad. To achieve research objectives, such as mixed research strategies that include qualitative and quantitative research design methods. Research tool – Oldenburg Burnout inventory questionnaire, patients satisfaction questionnaire and interview with experts in the field. The results of the study are confirmed by the topicality of the question, the discovery that in the European and the rest of the world, statistically significant differences in all 3 scales (disengagement, exhaustion and burnout full scale). European ocularist burnout rates are higher than the rest of the world’s ocularist burnout rates.
