Abstract: | Studiju zinātniskā darba ietvaros autore ir izpētījusi miega jēdzienu, nozīmi un diendusu ietekmi uz cilvēka veselību.
Zinātniskā darba ietvaros ir apkopoti vairāki pētījumi un viedokļi, kas pauduši diendusu nozīmi dažādos vecumos un apstākļos (pie veselības traucējumiem un maiņu darba gadījumā). Tai skaitā norādot uz pozitīvajam un negatīvajam sekām.
Viens no labas veselības priekšnosacījumiem ir atpūta, ko vistiešākajā veidā ietekmē miegs. Tai skaitā arī pēc pusdienu miegs.
Kā viens no pēc pusdienas miega jeb diendusas ietekmējošiem faktoriem ir cilvēka vecums.
