Abstract: Maģistra darbs „Dzīvnieku tiesību aizsardzības tiesiskais regulējums un tā praktiskā piemērošana lolojumdzīvniekiem” ir autores individuāli izstrādās darbs. Darba gaitā autore izpētīja lolojumdzīvnieka labturības regulējošās tiesību normas, kā arī valsts un pašvaldības kompetenci lolojumdzīvnieku aizsardzības jautājumos. Savukārt, darba pēdējā nodaļā autore izanalizēja tiesisko regulējumu un tā piemērošanu problēmas pārkāpumos pret lolojumdzīvnieku aizsardzību un labturību. Darba nobeigumā autore izteica savus secinājumus un priekšlikumus, lai ieteiktu grozījumus normatīvo aktu uzlabošanā attiecīgajā tēmā. Autores izvēlētā tēma ir aktuāla, jo mūsdienās, lai uzturētu un rūpētos par lolojumdzīvniekiem, ir jāievēro dzīvnieku aizsardzības labturības normas, kas ir noregulētas starptautiskajos un nacionālajos tiesību aktos. Latvijā dzīvnieku aizsardzība ir noregulēta „Dzīvnieku aizsardzības likumā” un Ministru kabineta noteikumos, kas attiecas uz dzīvnieku aizsardzību un labturības kārtību. Darba mērķis - analizējot dzīvnieku aizsardzības un labturības prasības kontekstā ar Dzīvnieku aizsardzības likuma 4. un 5.pantu, konstatēt problēmas un ieteikt grozījumus normatīvo aktu uzlabošanai, lai lolojumdzīvnieku labturība, kā arī aizsardzība tiktu ievērota. Maģistra darbs sastāv no trīs nodaļām un nobeiguma.
Master's work "Legal framework for the protection of animal rights and its practical application to pet animals' means work will be developed individually. In the course of the work, the author examined the rules governing the welfare of the pet animal as well as the competence of the State and local government in matters of pet protection. Figuring out how state and local governments engage in pet protection. On the other hand, in the last section of work, the author analysed the legal framework and its application in the infringement of the problem against the protection and welfare of pet animals. At the end of the work, the author presented her conclusions and proposal to recommend amendments to improve legislation on the subject. The theme chosen by the author is topical, since today, in order to maintain and take care, pet animals must comply with a number of welfare standards which have been laid down in international and national legislation. In Latvia, animal rights have been adjusted in the “Animal Protection Law” and the Cabinet regulations regarding animal protection and welfare rules. The aim of the work - in analysing animal rights and welfare requirements in the context of Articles 4 and 5 of the Animal Protection Act, identify problems and recommend amendments to improve the regulatory enactments so that the welfare of pet animals as well as the protection is respected. The Master's work consists of three chapters and a final.
