Pusaudžu vecāku klīniskās intervijas izveide mākslas terapeitiem, pirmais posms

Abstract

Mākslas terapeita pirmais solis sadarbībā ar klientu / pacientu ir aktuālā stāvokļa izvērtēšana. Pusaudžu vecāku klīniskā intervija (PVKI) ir instruments, kas var palīdzēt mākslas terapeitam iegūt nepieciešamo informāciju par klienta pusaudža funkcionēšanu un resursiem. Šobrīd šādu izvērtēšanas instrumentu trūkst, tāpēc šī maģistra darba mērķis ir izveidot PVKI mākslas terapeitiem, izvirzot trīs pētījuma jautājumus: 1. Kādas pusaudžu vecumam atbilstošas komponentes ir jāiekļauj PVKI jautājumos? 2. Vai pārstrādātās PVKI jautājumu saturs atbilst pusaudžu funkcionālo grūtību izvērtēšanas mērķiem atbilstoši ekspertu – bērnu psihiatru viedokļiem? 3. Vai ekspertu – mākslas terapeitu vērtējums par izstrādātajiem PVKI jautājumiem ir saskaņots? Pētījuma zinātniskajā literatūrā tika apskatīts bērna (no 11 līdz 18 gadu vecumam) attīstības periods, riski un aizsargājošie faktori, kas ļāva izveidot PVKI, kurā tika izdalītas 10 pusaudžu vecuma funkcionālo risku un aizsargājošo faktoru izvērtējumam nozīmīgās komponentes. Pētījumam tika izvēlēts jaukta tipa dizains, kas ietver divus posmus. Pirmajā posmā kvalitatīvi dati tika iegūti no trīs ekspertiem – bērnu psihiatriem par PVKI satura atbilstību pusaudžu funkcionālo grūtību izvērtēšanas mērķiem. Otrajā posmā kvantitatīvi PVKI jautājumu vērtējuma dati tika iegūti no desmit ekspertiem – mākslas terapeitiem. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka PVKI ir 10 pusaudžu vecumam nozīmīgās komponentes – problēmas pieteikums; iedzimtība / pārmantotas stratēģijas; mātes grūtniecība; veselības stāvoklis; attīstības traucējumi; mācību grūtības; piesaiste; emocionālais stāvoklis; riskanta uzvedība; makro un mezo faktori / resursi un pārvarēšanas stratēģijas. Noskaidrojās, ka 45 no 59 PVKI jautājumiem satura validitātes indekss ir teicams. Pētījuma rezultāti ļauj secināt, ka pētījuma ietvaros ir izstrādāta PVKI, kas atbilst pusaudžu funkcionālo grūtību izvērtēšanas mērķiem, un turpmāk izstrādātais instrumentārijs var tikt izmantots Mt praksē kā izvērtēšanas instruments darbā ar pusaudžiem.

Evaluation of the actual condition is the art therapist’s first step in cooperation with a client/patient. A clinical interview with adolescents’ parents is a tool that can help the art therapist to obtain the necessary information about the adolescent client’s functioning and their resources. There is a lack of such a tool at the moment, that is why this Master’s thesis aims to develop a clinical interview with adolescents’ parents for art therapists. For this purpose, three research questions were defined: 1. Which age-appropriate components must be included in the clinical interview questions? 2. Does the content of adapted clinical interview questions meet the aims of evaluating adolescents’ functional difficulties according to the opinion of experts, children psychiatrists? 3. Is the experts, art therapists, opinion on developed clinical interview questions consentaneous? The scientific literature study gives an overview of a child’s developmental stage (age 11-18), risks, and protective factors, which allowed to develop a clinical interview with adolescents’ parents and to distinguish 10 significant components of functional risks and protective factors of adolescence. The research consists of two stages. During the first stage, the qualitative data was collected from three experts, child psychiatrists, to identify the compliance level of the clinical interview content with the objectives of the assessment of adolescents' functional difficulties. During the second stage, the quantitative data on the evaluation of clinical interview questions was collected from ten experts, art therapists. The results of the research gave evidence that a clinical interview with adolescents’ parents included 10 components which are significant for adolescence – problem notification; heredity/ inherited strategies; mother’s pregnancy; health condition; developmental disorders; learning disorders; attachment; emotional condition; risky behavior; macro and mezofactors/ resources and coping strategies. It was determined that the content validity index for 45 out of 59 clinical interview questions is excellent. The results of the research allow to conclude that the clinical interview with adolescents’ parents which was developed as a part of the research meets the aim of evaluating the functional difficulties of adolescents and it can be further used as an evaluation tool by art therapists working with adolescents.
