Abstract: Kvalifikācijas darba tēma: Fizisko aktivitāšu ietekme uz cilvēka psihoemocionālo stāvokli. Statistiskai analīzei izmantota programma SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences 26.00 versija), izmantojot aprakstošo statistiku un neparametriskus testus.
Qualification thesis topic: The influence of physical activities on a person's psycho-emotional state. Aim of the study: To study the effects of yoga, eye and breathing exercises on people's psycho-emotional state. Relevance of the topic: Nowadays, a large number of people suffer from stress caused by various life factors. Stress, anxiety or depressive moods affect people's quality of life, relationships with others, productivity at work, mental and physical health. Several studies have been done on the effects of physical activity on the well-being of depressed patients, and the results suggest that physical activity may have a similar effect to antidepressant medications. Research Hypothesis: Yoga, eye and breathing exercises reduce the levels of depression and anxiety. Research methods: Quantitative experimental study. 21 people participated in the experimental study group: 11 men and 10 women, 18 people participated in the control group: 8 men and 10 women. The study group was offered online classes with yoga, eye and breathing exercises 2 times a week for 1 hour, and the tools for assessing psychoemotional status were the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and the Anxiety Signs. The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (FormY), Self-Evaluation Questionnaire (STAI-Y) at the beginning, middle and end of the study (every 2 weeks). The control group had only a questionnaire. The program SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences version 26.00) was used for statistical analysis, using descriptive statistics and nonparametric tests. Results: The study was completed by 18 people in the experimental group and 18 in the control group. The reduction of depression rates PHQ-9 in the study group is statistically significant, because the changes before and after the author's yoga class program are p = 0.000, where the probability of the null hypothesis should be 0.05 or less. The STAI-Y (II) indicator of trait anxiety as a feature of the study group has decreased statistically significantly since the beginning of the experiment, there is a statistically significantly different result p = 0.010. The end result of the decrease in state anxiety STAI-Y (I) indicator, which is statistically significantly different for both the study group p = 0.020 and the control group p = 0.006.
