Air-flow pielietošana un pulveru veidi

Abstract

Dotajā darbā tiek apskatīta zinātniskā literatūra par Air-flow tehnoloģiju pielietošanu, indikācijām, kontrindikācijām, pulveru veidiem. Autors pēta zobu higiēnistu informētību par Air-flow pielietošanu un pulveru veidiem. Musdienās arvien lielāka uzmanība tiek pievērsta mutes higiēnai, tāpēc dažādas profesionālas profilaktiskas manipulācijas ir pieprasītas. Air-Flow ir viena no biežāk izmantotajām manipulācijām veicot mutes higiēnu, jo tā ir viegli izpildāma un pacientam nav traumatiska, ja zobu higiēnistam ir pietiekamas zināšanas par Air-flow pielietošanu. Kvalifikācijas darba mērķis - apkopot zinātniskajā literatūrā pieejamo informāciju par Air-flow pielietošanu un pulveru veidiem, kā arī zobu higiēnistu informētību par to. Kvalifikācijas darba hipotēze - zobu higiēnisti ir pietiekami labi informēti par Air-flow pielietošana un pulveru veidiem. Tika izveidota aptauja, kura sastāvēja no 14 jautājumiem, un ar sociālo tīklu starpniecību tā tika nosūtīta zobu higiēnistiem.

The scientific literature about the usage of Air-Flow, indications, contraindications and different types of powders are examined in this Final project. Author also analyzed the knowledge of the Dental Hygienists of the Air-flow usage and powder types. Nowadays it is very common to take care of the oral hygiene, so people often see specialists for that. Air-Flow is one of the mostly used manipulations during professional oral hygiene, because it is easily done and isn’t traumatic for the patient, if Dental Hygienist has adequate knowledge of Air-Flow usage. The aim of this Final project is to collect the available scientific literature regarding Air-Flow, and also to examine the knowledge of the Dental Hygienists in this subject. The hypothesis of this Final project – the Dental Hygienists are well informed about the usage of Air-Flow and the types of powders. The scientific literature for the theoretical part of this Project was searched on EBSCO, ClinicalKey, PubMed and Google Scholar databases. A survey was conducted among the specialists and it was sent via social network.
