Criminological Problems of Sexual Violence. Summary of the Doctoral Thesis

Abstract

Doctoral thesis “Criminological Problem of Sexual Violence” is a complex theoretical and empirical work on the issue of sexual violence. Violence is a serious global individual security and health problem. Complexity of the approach and the principal of interrelation play any important role in the process of criminological research. The study of criminological problem of sexual violence is largely based different statistical data and research. The author looks at sexual violence as a legal and social phenomenon taking into account its criminological aspects – trends, causes and factor that encourage crime, analyze of a criminal personality, as we as analyses or victimology theory and the theoretical viewpoint and its system is closely related to other sciences. The basic aspects of work and the drawn conclusions further develop criminological theories, as well as extend a number of the concepts in criminology. The doctoral thesis contains summary of scientific literature in criminology, criminal law, psychology. As the result of the research work conclusion have been drawn and made several suggestions for improvement research in the field of sexual violence, as well as through the prism of criminological research found out the legal regulation aspect. The thesis consists of the introduction, six sections with chapters, conclusions and suggestions, bibliography and annexes.
