Abstract

Bērnu vakcinācija ir plaši apspriesta tēma. Mūsdienu sabiedrība ir sadalījusies divās grupās- vieni,kas vakcināciju atbalsta un uzskata par neatņemamu sastāvdaļu bērna veselībā un, otri, kas vakcinācijai neuzticās un nemitīgi meklē tajā mīnusus. Pētījums tapis, lai rastu atbildi, vai vakcinācijas aptveres rādītāji, kā arī to ietekmējošie faktori un vecāku viedokļi atšķiras Rīgā un Latvijas reģionos. Darbs sastāv no ievada, teorētiskās daļas, pētījuma daļas, izmantoto avotu un literatūras saraksta. Ievadā ir aprakstīta tēmas aktualitāte, izvirzīti mērķi, noteikti uzdevumi pētījuma veikšanai. Teorētiskajā daļā aplūkota literatūra, kas atspoguļo vakcinācijas nozīmi, uzskaitīti vakcīnu veidi, kontrindikācijas, izpētīts Nacionālais vakcinācijas kalendārs Latvijā, kā arī pēdējie pieejamie dati, par vakcinācijas aptveres rādītājiem Latvijā. Pētījumā piedalījās 283 respondenti, kuri tika sadalīti divās pētījuma grupās, pēc viņu dzīvesvietas- Rīga vai Latvijas reģioni. Pētījuma daļā analizētas respondentu aizpildītās anketas, kurās vecāki sniedza informāciju par viņu attieksmi pret vakcināciju, ietekmējošajiem faktoriem, informācijas avotiem, kā arī par viņu bērnu vakcinācijas datiem. Dati tika ievadīti šifrētā veidā, izmantojot Microsoft Excel programmu un izveidota datu bāze, kas statistiski apstrādāta izmantojot IBM SPSS 20 programmu. Salīdzinošajai analīzei tika izmantots Hī-kvadrāta tests (Chi-Square Test) un aprakstošā metode. Hī-kvadrāta tests (Chi-Square Test) izmantots, lai noteiktu, vai ir statistiski ticama sakarība starp dzīvesvietu un iegūtajiem datiem( vakcinācijas rādītājiem un ietekmējošiem faktoriem). Darba veikšanai izpētīti 19 literatūras avoti. Kopējais darba apjoms 42 lpp.

Childhood immunization is a widely discussed subject where our modern society has mostly divided into two groups - one who supports vaccines and sees those as an integral part of Children's Health, and another group who doesn`t trust vaccines and is out looking for their disadvantages. The research paper was created to find out whether or not there is any difference between Riga and regions of Latvia when it comes to immunization rates, their influencing factors and parental standpoint about vaccines. This work consist of an introduction, theoretical and practical part, list of used sources and literature. The introduction consists of the relevance of the topic, goal setting, and tasks for the research. The theoretical part consists of an overview of the literature that reflects the meaning of immunization, types of immunization, contraindications, studied National Immunization Schedule in Latvia as well as the latest available data for vaccination coverage rates in Latvia. In this research, there were 283 respondents, who were divided into two groups based on their residence - Riga or region of Latvia. The study part includes analyzed survey responses from these respondents where the parents informed about their standpoint about immunization, it`s influencing factors and their sources of information, as well as their children's immunization data. Encrypted information was entered using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and created a database that statistically processes data by using IBM SPSS 20 software platform. Chi-Square test and descriptive method were used for comparative processing. Chi-Square test were used to find out if there's a statistically credible connectedness between their place of residence and acquired data (immunization rate and it's influencing factors). 19 sources of literature have been researched.
