Abstract

Pētījuma nosaukums: Vecuma un attīstības anketas tulkojums latviešu valodā. Aktualitāte: Motorā un psihosociālā attīstība bērna pirmajā dzīves gadā ir viens no indikatoriem vispārējai attīstībai. Attīstības novērtēšanai nepieciešamas ticamas un pamatotas novērtēšanas metodes. Vecuma un attīstības anketa (Ages & Stages Questionnaire - ASQ-3) ir pasaulē labi zināma, ērti lietojama un psihometriski pārbaudīta skala bērnu attīstības izvērtēšanā. Latvijā skala nav tulkota un nav veikta tās psihometrisko rādītāju pārbaude. Mērķis: Veikt vecuma un attīstības anketas (Ages and Stages Questionnaire - ASQ-3) tulkojumu latviešu valodā un pārbaudīt latviešu valodas tulkojuma ticamību un pamatotību. Metodes: Iesaistot angļu valodas filologus un sertificētus bērnu motoro attīstību pārzinošus fizioterapeitus tika veikta standartizēta procedūra ASQ-3 novērtēšanas instrumenta tulkošanai latviešu valodā. Izmantojot tulkoto versiju, tika novērtēta 107 veselu bērnu vecumā divi līdz divpadsmit mēneši attīstība (komunikācija, lielās motorās funkcijas, mazās – sīkās motorās funkcijas, problēmu risināšana un personiski sociālā loma). Visi bērni tika novērtēti arī ar Minhenes funkcionālās attīstības diagnostikas novērtēšanas instrumentu (MFAD). Lai pārbaudītu ASQ-3 psihometriskos rādītājus, tika noteikta anketas iekšējā saskaņotība, testa – atkārtotā testa ticamība un konkurentu pamatotība starp ASQ-3 un MFAD novērtējumiem. Rezultāti: Izveidots klīniski pielietojams un terminoloģiski pārbaudīts ASQ-3 bērnu vecumā divi līdz divpadsmit mēneši attīstības novērtēšanas instruments latviešu valodā. ASQ-3 tulkojumam latviešu valodā tika konstatēti ticamības rādītāji: laba iekšējā saskaņotība – Cronbach Alpha α=0,796; laba un augsta testa – atkārtotā testa ticamība – ICC 0,774 (p<0,001) un vāja līdz augsta konkurentu pamatītība ar MFAD – Spearman, rs no 0,296 (p=0,002) līdz 0,913 (p=0,030). Secinājumi: ASQ-3 tulkojumam latviešu valodā ir atbilstoši ticamības un pamatotības rādītāji, lai šo instrumentu varētu izmantoto bērnu vecumā divi līdz divpadsmit mēneši attīstības novērtēšanai. Research’s title: Ages and Stages Questionnaire translation in Latvian. Background: In the first year of child’s life motor and psychosocial development is one of the general development indicators. For assessment of the development there is a necessity of reliable and valid assessment methods. Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3) is world-known, easy to use and psychometrically tested scale for identifying development of an infant. A translation of the ASQ-3 in Latvian language has not been made and the psychometric properties of the translation have not been tested. Aim: To translate the Ages and Stages Questionnaire in Latvian language and test the reliability and validity of the translation. Methods: A standardized procedure was conducted to make the translation of ASQ-3 in Latvian language. The procedure involved philologists of the English language and certified physiotherapists who have vast knowledge of child’s motor development. With the translated version 107 healthy children, aged from two to twelve months were assessed for their development (communication, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, problem solving, personal-social skills). All children were assessed also by the Munich Functional Developmental Diagnostic’s (MFAD) scale. To test the psychometric properties scale’s internal consistency, test-retest reliability and concurrent validity with MFAD was detected. Results: In Latvian language terminologically tested and clinically usable ASQ-3 assessment tool for children aged from two to twelve months were made. The properties of reliability of the ASQ-3 translation in Latvian were the following: good internal consistency - Cronbach’s Alpha: α=0,796; good and high test – retest reliability – ICC0,774 (p<0,001) and the concurrent validity with MFDD was weak to high – Spearman’s rs=0,296 (p=0,002) up to 0,913 (p=0,030). Conclusion: The translated version of the ASQ-3 in Latvian language has adequate reliability and validity to be used as an assessment tool when assessing two to twelve months old infants’ development.
